Location is excellent. Walkable to Dayong Ancient Town and the 72 Wonders tower at night. Tianmen Mountain cable car is a short taxi ride. Loads of local restaurants downstairs. Quiet at night despite being central — good soundproofing in the rooms too

The owner's wife explained where to eat, how to plan the mountains, and warned us about taxi drivers overcharging. Felt like staying at a friend's place rather than a hotel. We'll be back

After two days of hiking in the national park, the free laundry and dryer was a lifesaver. We dropped the bag in the morning and came back to clean, folded clothes. It's the small things like this that make a mid-range place feel premium

It poured on our second day so we had to skip the national park. The hotel offered free afternoon tea in the lounge, and we used the small gym to kill time. Thoughtful touches that turned a wet day into a relaxed one. breakfast ends at 9:30, don't sleep in too late

The front desk staff went well beyond. They helped us book Tianmen Mountain tickets, gave us a route that saved us half a day of queueing, and even arranged a taxi at 6am. Nothing was too much trouble. The little souvenir at check-out was a lovely touch for the kids.

The room looked brand new. Light wood tones, modern but warm, everything well maintained. No musty smell, no dust, bed linen crisp. They even had a small fridge in the room. For the price, honestly one of the best rooms we've had in China.

We booked the river-view room and it really did exceed expectations. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the Lishui River and the misty Tianmen Mountain perfectly — we just sat by the window with tea and watched the light change. Room was spotless, bed super comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. Absolutely worth the small upgrade.

Breakfast is good. You get a proper Hunan rice noodle bowl made fresh in front of you, plus steamed buns and fruit. Simple, hot, and way better than the generic buffet at big chain hotels. Don't skip it.

For the price this is unbeatable. Room is bigger than expected, modern, super clean. Staff were responsive on WeChat before we even arrived. The river view alone justifies it — we paid double for a much worse room closer to the park entrance. Book this

Amazing location, right by the river and perfect for evening walks. The street directly below the hotel has many shops and restaurants, some open 24 hours. The room was extremely clean, beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast on the 13th floor also has a great view.
The service was exceptional. The staff even helped us book a ticket and handled everything for us. Laundry was free, they collected our clothes directly from the room, washed them and brought them back. Amazing service!

As someone who usually struggles to sleep in hotels, the mattress here shocked me — it's a Serta. Firm but plush, pillows just right, blackout curtains kept the room dark. Woke up feeling actually rested after hiking the national park. Rare thing.

Great river‑view stay
We booked the river‑view room and it exceeded expectations. Floor‑to‑ceiling windows offer stunning unobstructed views over the Li River, both daytime and sunset look amazing. The room is well‑maintained with a spacious bathroom, you can even enjoy the river scenery while soaking in the bathtub. Breakfast has a good variety: hot dishes, fresh fruits and local rice noodles are available. The hotel is conveniently located, with restaurants and shops nearby. Sound insulation is decent, we slept really well. Highly recommended for travellers.

Nice hotel for family city trip
We stayed here as a family and had a pleasant experience. The river‑view panorama through big windows is breathtaking. Bathroom is clean and facilities work perfectly. Breakfast covers different tastes, including hot meals, pastries and fresh fruits. It is easy to get around the city from this hotel. Everything is tidy and the environment is quiet. Good value for money, one of the best city‑centre options in Zhangjiajie.

The large floor‑to‑ceiling windows are definitely the highlight of this hotel, perfect for taking photos. The room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable, ideal after long‑day sightseeing. Public areas are clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast food is fresh and restocked in time. Staff are friendly and respond to requests quickly. Quiet despite being in the city centre. Perfect choice for your trip to Zhangjiajie if you value nice views.

Relaxing urban accommodation
I loved the seating spot by the window, sitting there watching the river was super relaxing. Plenty of natural light inside the room and all facilities are fairly new. Breakfast quality is solid, you can enjoy your meal while overlooking the river. The hotel features a simple yet elegant style. Supportive staff handle inquiries promptly. It works great both for overnight transit and short leisure stays.

Solid pick for visiting Zhangjiajie
Panoramic river view is the biggest plus of this property. Well‑equipped room with nice bathtub and complete bathroom amenities. Breakfast is plentiful with diverse choices. Lots of dining and shopping options close by. Noise control is good so you can have a restful night. No obvious downsides during our stay. We would happily come back next time we visit Zhangjiajie.
