Forse meglio in estate
Pros:

Bella anche se piccola la camera. Grande il bagno, tutto decorato in stile cottage. Set di cortesia con spazzolino, ciabatte e varie necessarie per il bagno. Peccato tutto in plastica. Bene per i flaconi di detergenti.
Colazione spettacolare e personale gentilissimo (la ragazza alla reception super disponibile nel fornirci il necessario per la notte per il nostro bimbo, super)

Cons:

C’erano lavori di ristrutturazione in giardino che rendevano molto meno caratteristico e curato il posto. Direi quasi trascurato. La nostra camera era accanto alla cucina e non c’era un vero e proprio divisorio per evitare che si vedesse.
Un po’ di trasandatezza in generale negli esterni (c’erano una tazza vuota e un tappo di birra sul tavolo fuori dalla nostra camera abbandonati).
La mattina ho dovuto inviare un messaggio per chiedere di attivare il riscaldamento alle 6.45).
Impossibile regolare la temperatura dell’acqua su tiepida in bagno. Per il prezzo pagato non ci tornerei.

Ampio parcheggio
Ottima colazione come pure la cena,pietanze curate e abbondanti!
Consiglio di prenotare per il pasto serale in quanto il pub è molto frequentato!
Se noleggiate l’auto,munitevi di utilitarie piccole per le strade abbastanza strette.

Weekend catch up
Pros:

Lovely garden room in the courtyard. Great breakfast, better than my dinner choice. Great villages with lots of potential walks from it into the beautiful countryside. Quiet at night.

Cons:

They were short staffed for dinner so service took a long time. I was disappointed with the monkfish curry, not as advertised on website. Just fish, sauce, plain rice & shop bought naan. Not great for the price. Yappy dog in room next to us as they allow dogs in garden rooms.

Cons:

The beds were very uncomfortable.

Also having a little kitchenette would be handy to store milk for tea or dog food that needed a fridge.

Also we were late checking in due to traffic and needed dinner however they had stopped serving food in the pub as it was a Sunday and the staff didn’t know anywhere else that would serve us. We were told to google places. This needs to be clearer on bookings especially if your coming on a Sunday

A wonderful peaceful retreat
Pros:

Very calm, peaceful and quiet. The staff were lovely. The room was quirky but calm and functional. Food was excellent. The breakfast and dinner were pretty much fine dining quality. The village in which it resides and the people I met there were lovely too. I could live here happily.

Cons:

Some other guests were a bit rowdy but that's not the hotels fault!

Lovely location would definitely return
Pros:

Lovely room and a lovely location. Breakfast was really lovely, but it would’ve been nice to see cereals and pastries or even some fruit.

Cons:

As I said above, maybe would’ve been better to have a variety of breakfast items even asking if you wanted extra toast
