Cons:

Cons:

Nichts

Pros:

Quaint country inn. Staff were pleasant. Room nicely decorated.

Cons:

Cost and quality of evening meal and drinks. Insufficient staff in the evening and again at breakfast. Had to request basics - spoon for granola and jam for toast. Single shared teapot empty at self-service table. Long wait for husband’s breakfast as egg included, despite sharing that he had an egg allergy, and had to be re-done.
Room was like a sauna and badly in need of aircon. Impossible to sleep for long and we had a long drive ahead 😏

Unexpected luxury in a tiny picturesque village
Pros:

Room was fantastic (duluxe double above the pub). Huge bathroom and room, really well decorated and appointed. Lovely quiet village. Staff friendly and breakfast was really nicely presented and with a good offering. The evening meal menu looked great too - shame we didn't have a chance to try it. Would definitely recommend.

Cons:

It was the hottest day of the year and there were no fans for the bedrooms, cue a very hot night. Would suggest getting a few in for these scenarios. My wife also suggests a mirror in the bedroom on the dresser, not just over the sinks in the bathroom.

Lovely Inn, lovely bedroom, staff not very helpful and expensive prices on food and drink.
Pros:

The room was lovely and the Inn itself was very good. The food was very good.

Cons:

Lack of staff, had to keep asking for things ie teaspoon, sugar and wasn't ask if we needed anything else with our dinner-breakfast. There was never anyone to ask. Then being charged £15.10 for a white wine and lemonade and 12.5% service charge. I didn't get to see the bill as my partner paid and I only saw it when we got home.
