Excellent location in Cromer, and value for money.
Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable but not luxurious in any way. There was a lift so moving luggage was easy. Excellent location, overlooking the sea, and right on top of pubs, restaurants, etc. Although we booked breakfast we didn't manage to get there so can't comment on choice, etc. Free parking in front of the hotel was useful as we didn't use the car while we stayed at the hotel.

Great hotel in the heart of Cromer
Pros:

The staff were brilliant, very personable and friendly. Our room with a sea view was exactly what we wanted for our mini escape and was absolutely huge. The location was also perfect being right in the center of Cromer on the sea front. Everything was very clean and tidy and there were lots of options for breakfast which was worth the money. The hotel offers entertainment each evening which we thought was a great touch,.and we joined in with the evening's bingo which was a lot of fun.

Cons:

We felt that the hotel may be a bit understaffed for the number of guests they have. This did not affect service but it was clear that 2 waiting staff for the 1 hour breakfast window with a pretty much full house ran them off their feet which isn't always nice to see. They handled it brilliantly and professionally though. We were a bit sad that a lot of the character has been stripped away from the inside of the property, it's such a beautiful building that the more modernised bathrooms etc clash with it a bit,.but I know this is a very personal preference !

Pros:

Staff were friendly, the bed was comfy, and the view and location were great.
We wanted a night at the seaside and it is in a perfect position.

Cons:

I didn't enjoy the cobwebs I had to clean from the shower! They were short staffed, and the girls who were serving breakfast were friendly, apologetic, and doing their best, but the wait was really long. The one man who seemed to be in charge could have stepped in and helped but, instead, helped himself to a juice, said ' they'll be with you in a minute' and strolled off, leaving us waiting to be seated.
The hotel is full of faded elegance and must have been beautiful once, but the rooms are very tired now and the bathroom was really unappealing.

ONLY FOR VIACH TRIPS
Pros:

The hotel SHOULD NOT SELL ANY SPARE ROOMS

Cons:

BE WARNED THE HOTEL OWN THE TRAVEL COMOSNY THAT BRING HOARDS OF CISCH TRIPS IN. They should not be selling the odd left room at double the price! Did not get breakfast we paid for

Perfect choice for central Cromer beach location.
Pros:

Booked this for a photography trip. So Location was perfect. Right on the front yards from the pier.

I arrived for lunch and did sunset and also got up for sunrise, so room was just a simple single. Good value and the bonus was free parking right outside the hotel.

Cons:

Can be busy with Coach parties so need to be on the ball at meal times.

Overall a pleasant stay in a part of the country that I ❤️
Cons:

Food of average quality. Salad rather disappointing. Unusually refused alternative chefs special, although most Alfa hotels have a few portions for SD arrivals on the day! Decor needs attention in some areas.
