Mooi en schoon hotel. Te hoge prijzen voor drankjes. Helaas was de zwembad bar ook erg vroeg dicht.

Pleasant stay, great location, but there is some room for improvement
Pros:

-- The flexible dining system makes a lot of sense and gives guests much more freedom to plan their day, rather than having to organize everything around a fixed dinner time.

-- The hotel is generally well maintained and offers nice facilities.

-- The staff, from the kitchen team to the service staff, were all very friendly, attentive, and welcoming.

-- The hotel is also within a very pleasant and easy walking distance (15-20 mins) of Stari Grad city center.

-- The sea directly in front of the hotel is beautiful and clean, and the surroundings are peaceful and relaxing. Beach towels are also provided, which is convenient.

-- Overall, I think the hotel is suitable for a wide range of guests, including young couples, families with children, and older guests. They offer a good balance of facilities and activities for different preferences and age groups.

-- Another very convenient feature is the taxi boat that runs directly from the hotel to the Stari Grad ferry port, and it is very affordable.

Cons:

-- The rooms are quite basic, at least the S room we stayed in. There was no kettle, fridge, or toiletries. We were provided with a single soap, which we ended up moving between the shower and the sink each time. This was manageable, but it is worth being prepared for a fairly minimal room setup. Sea view is also just partial, see the actual view from inside the room.

-- One of the main disappointments was the beachfront setup. On Booking.com, the photos and listed facilities gave us the impression that the sunbeds by the beach were part of the hotel facilities. So I had expected to spend much of the day there, but these sunbeds actually require an additional payment per person, per day (not indicated an an extra service on booking). There are plenty of sunbeds around the pool, but there is a mismatch with the presentation and description on Booking.com

-- Also, during the season we visited, many guests would place their towels on sunbeds early in the morning to reserve them, even if they did not use them for several hours. Because of this, finding a spot was not always easy.

-- Another point, although this may be more of a general observation about Croatia than the hotel itself, is smoking. Smoking is very common in restaurants, around pools, and at the beach, so as a non-smoker you "constantly" find yourself surrounded by cigarette smoke. This also happens around families with babies and young children. It would be great if the hotel could introduce some clearly designated non-smoking areas, particularly in the restaurant and around the pool, so that both smokers and non-smokers can enjoy the space comfortably.

-- Finally, food variety and quality are not really one of the hotel's strengths. The food is not bad, but we also did not find it particularly good or memorable. Considering the overall prices, we would have expected somewhat better quality and variety.

Negative experience overall but nice helpful staff.
Pros:

The staff were helpful and refunded our stay with no issues / arguments right away. Booking.com were also very helpful.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I’ve been so disappointed by my experience and trusted all the great reviews on here and wouldn’t want someone else to make the same mistake as us.

The hotel looked much nicer in pictures. In reality it was tired, run down, and dirty. Our bathroom smelt of sewage, had mould round the shower, and a cracked sink. The balcony was dirty, as well as the curtains and marks on the wall and floor.

The hotel in general gave a hostel feel, particularly the corridors.

We upgraded to a bigger room before arrival as we saw reviews recommending we do this, and the bigger room was still so tiny we couldn’t fit our suitcases. I would hate to see how small the standard one is!

We left within two hours of arriving and moved to a much nicer hotels. Hvar has gorgeous hotels across the island so bare this in mind before booking this one.

Lokacija perfektna, puno prirodnog hlada, za svakoga ima sta zeli,pored bazena muzika, na plazi pored mora mirnije, setnja do Starog Grada 10tak minuta uzivanja,osoblje cijelo na koga god naletite ljubazno, izlaze u susret u svemu.

A good stay, lots of positives but lots of room for improvement. We won’t be back.
Pros:

Lovely location, nice vibe and liked the credit approach. Pools were great, and right on the coast. Great family room with a view of the sea - and a lovely approach via the water taxi

Cons:

People who smoked - everywhere, during meals, poolside…. Would really have preferred a no- smoking area
Also some of the staff (and the other guests were very grumpy, verging on rude)
