The owner was really friendly and cooked a great breakfast. The private beach was real nice and a good addition, would definitely visit again

I loved everything, we arrived and the owner parked our car for us nearby on the private beach, the room was lovely and everything we needed for a 2 day stop off in sarande.
It’s a family run hotel and what a lovely family, so welcoming and they cannot do enough for you.
We had private access to the beach with lots of sunbeds available (so comfy) and the water is turquoise blue with fish swimming around.
We had breakfast each morning and I cannot express enough the hospitality. Mamma is the best she is such a lovely woman and her cooking is another level, we would choose how we want our eggs, we chose scrambled and they were creamy and delicious along with bacon, but Mamma would also bake the most beautiful cakes, we had orange and chocolate the first morning along with the nicest flan style tart filled with olives and onions and egg, 10/10. But breakfast doesn’t stop there, you have a buffet of fresh fruit, bread and oats with chia seeds and a choice of teas and coffee’s.
We were leaving on the second day quite early so asked just for the eggs and bacon but the lovely host brought us a takeaway box with fresh fruit and the most exquisite pistachio and chocolate cake for our long trip back to Tirana, she is such a lovely, homely woman.
I would definitely stop here again, they cannot make you feel more welcome by this lovely family, so humble.
And also ask for the signature cocktail, amazing!

Absolutely lovely service and breakfast along sea view was amazing with so many options served to your table. Also the location was perfect at the beach and close to restaurants, but still very peaceful.

Soggiorno davvero piacevole. Hotel molto curato, accogliente e in un’ottima posizione. Staff sempre gentile, disponibile e attento.

Una menzione speciale merita la colazione: veramente eccezionale, ricca, genuina e preparata con grande cura, con prodotti fatti a mano e freschi. Una delle migliori colazioni che abbiamo trovato durante il nostro viaggio.

Un ringraziamento particolare a Maria, per la sua straordinaria gentilezza, simpatia e disponibilità: ci ha fatto sentire davvero come a casa.

Un soggiorno che ricorderemo con piacere. Torneremo sicuramente e lo consigliamo senza esitazioni!

Séjour agréable dans un endroit chaleureux, avec un personnel accueillant et sympathique.

Familienbetrieb, super freundlich und zuvorkommend, erfüllen alle Wünsche, Zimmer sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet; ein Traum direkt am Wasser - wie bereits in anderen Bewertungen zu lesen: grandioses Frühstück und auch mittags super lecker; da wir am letzten Tag früh weg mussten, haben wir Lunchpakete bekommen. O dono do hotel foi extremamente gentil e prestativo, o hotel é muito lindo e de extremo bom gosto, localização maravilhosa.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Kiesstrand mit eigenen liegen. Die Zimmer sind sehr modern eingerichtet und super schön und sauber. Das perfekte Frühstück wird auf der Terrasse serviert mit Meerblick.

An absolute gem in Sarandë!

Our stay at Da Luz Boutique Hotel was truly wonderful. It is one of those places where you immediately feel the warmth and care behind everything. The atmosphere is charming, relaxed and welcoming, the rooms are beautifully kept, and being so close to the sea makes the whole experience even more special.

But the real highlight has to be the breakfast and the food. Absolutely fantastic! Everything is fresh, homemade and prepared with such incredible care by the lovely lady of the house. Every morning there was something delicious to discover – wonderful homemade dishes, pastries, cakes and local flavours, all prepared with genuine passion. You can really taste the love and attention that goes into every single dish. It feels much more like being welcomed into someone's home than simply having breakfast at a hotel.

What makes Da Luz particularly special is exactly this personal touch. The owners and staff are genuinely warm, attentive and kind, creating a lovely family atmosphere without ever being intrusive.

A beautiful setting, wonderful hospitality, exceptional homemade food and that rare feeling of being truly looked after. Da Luz is not simply a place to stay – it is a place you remember.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The customer service was excellent, the room was clean and comfortable, and the view was beautiful. The peaceful and relaxing atmosphere made the experience even better. I would definitely stay here again!
