Ponari S Hotel

This was our first time visiting Albania, and our experience truly exceeded our expectations.

I’m giving this hotel the highest rating because the owners and staff genuinely deserve recognition for the effort they put into making their guests feel welcome. What impressed us most was the attitude of the people—not only at the hotel, but also in the surrounding restaurants, shops, and throughout the area. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and eager to assist.

The owners are regularly present at the hotel and personally involved in making sure everything runs smoothly and any issues are resolved. You can really feel that everyone is giving 100%, and that made a very positive impression on us.

The rooms are spacious, especially compared with many European hotels, and comfortable. One small practical suggestion would be to provide a larger trash bin in the room. Since housekeeping is done approximately once every three days, the small bin fills up quite quickly.

The location is excellent. The beach, restaurants, supermarket, and a small local market are all within a 2–3 minute walk, which makes everything very convenient.

Breakfast is fairly similar from day to day, but it is filling and offers a little more variety than the typical continental breakfast you find in many European hotels.

Overall, we were very pleasantly surprised by our first experience in Albania. What we will remember most is how genuinely welcoming and hardworking everyone was. You can see that the owners and staff care about their business and their guests.

We would gladly stay here again and wish the owners and the entire team continued success!

We had a very pleasant stay at Ponari S Hotel.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and always happy to help with any request. Their kindness and professionalism made us feel very welcome.
The hotel is just a short walk from the beach, and having private sunbeds and an umbrella included in the price was a great advantage. The beach was clean and well maintained, and the beach staff were always willing to help move the sunbeds or adjust the umbrella.
Our room and bathroom were spacious, clean and comfortable. Even though our room faced the main road, the sound insulation was surprisingly good, so traffic noise was never a problem. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was especially important during the hot summer days.
A small detail that we really appreciated was the folding drying rack on the balcony. It was incredibly useful for drying towels and swimwear. We noticed that many nearby hotels, even some five-star ones, didn't provide this, so guests had to hang their clothes over the balcony railings. It may seem like a small thing, but it made our stay much more comfortable.
The hotel is also surrounded by many restaurants, cafés and shops, making it easy to enjoy the area without needing a car.

Zimmer war in Ordnung sauber und wurde jede 3 Tage gesäubert.
Klima Anlage hat leider am Balkon getropft , so das man den Balkon nicht nutzen konnte .
Aussicht war nicht so schön, man hat nur Häuser gesehen .
Frühstück war Okay leider immer das selbe.
Die Dame am Empfang war sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Strand war Super der Rest ziemlich Langweilig und sehr Teuer .

It is very clean and close to the beach. The staff is very friendly. Everything was fine, but just would like to mention that you are charged 3% extra if you pay by card and this information is given after you book your stay, not beforehand. We didn’t mind, but is something good to know.

Private sunbeds at the beach. They were enough for the guests. Free parking and good internet.
