Endroit atypique so British, imposant bâtiment, chambre propre, saloe de bain très confortable, hôtel avec restaurant, proximité du centre ville pour autres commerces

Pros:

Free parking and very central. Staff were lovely and considering the heatwave were amazing. Breakfast included was great value.

Cons:

The locals drunk in the street (beyond the control of the hotel). Water pressure was low but that could be to do with the heatwave. Minor detail but no lamp by my side of the bed.

Coming "home "
Pros:

I purposefully chose the Bear Hotel for its history and knowing some of my ancestors lived in Devises. The location was perfect. Does the hotel have quirks? Of course, it's over a hundred years old but they are minor. Loved the breakfast served.
