It was so memorable and lovely that we're going to book again.
Pros:

Everything was exceptional. The room was great - well-equipped and atmospheric. The staff were friendly and professional and the food was absolutely knock-out. The my evening meal was so delicious I ordered it again the next evening.

Cons:

There was nothing I didn't like.

Very comfortable.
Pros:

Very friendly welcome when arriving.Very charming and classic style hotel our room was a twin nicely decorated very comfortable bed.
with very clean and good standard an suite shower/bathroom .Wonderful view of the market square The breakfast was very nice it was fall English , didn't disappoint plenty of choice

Little gem of a hotel

Great stay, will definitely recommend!
Pros:

Location, free parking and very accommodating. Thank you for accommodating my husband and kindly offering a room for him to work in. Staff are all very nice. Our room was cosy, feels like a home away from home.

Great location in town. Breakfast excellent room a bit tired but a refurb taking place so hopefully better soon
Pros:

Plenty of free parking. Staff were super friendly

Cons:

Undergoing upgrades so will be better longer term, but areas of hotel out of bounds so a bit of a maze around the building

Pros:

The staff were all friendly and cheerful, we arrived at 1.0pm and our room was available, it was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was cooked to order and was well presented.

Traditional hotel but modernised with taste to give a very comfortable stay
Pros:

Centrally located with good parking. Attractive old building. Our room was lovely with a good bathroom. Bed comfortable. Clean. Attractively decorated and plenty of sockets. Excellent breakfast pleasant helpful staff

Cons:

Some people might find the room compact but we thought it well designed. Otherwise nothing we didn’t like

Excellent facilities and food, great hotel
Pros:

Very welcoming. Cosy. Clean. Great meal in the evening. Lovely friendly staff. Free parking. Convenient location.

Cons:

Breakfast was exceptionally slow and even tho we had gone down early, we were late for our meeting due to the long wait.

Didnt really enjoy coffee bags in room but I do like a strong coffee so maybe ok for others

Lovely hotel and great stay
Pros:

It’s not every day you get to spend the night in such a beautiful, historic building. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The mattress and pillow were comfortable. The hotel’s location is simply brilliant!

Cons:

The beer in the pub was a bit flat. On top of that, we weren’t sure where to park and ended up stopping in front of the hotel, but it turned out to be a paid municipal car park and we got a fine – do be careful, the car park is in the back courtyard.
