Overall, it was a lovely day, but bedrooms need a facelift which I am delighted to see they are going to be doing a refu
Pros:

I loved the staff (especially Steph who went over and above to try and get me early check-in as we were arriving from Ireland very early). Loved the breakfast and wee seating area with tv.

Cons:

Room size was very small and no plug sockets near to the beds.

A bit disappointing
Pros:

Location and the breakfast.

Cons:

I was initially sent to an occupied room. I was shocked to see a gentleman upon entering the room and had to go back to reception. I was given another room without a sea view which was not I booked for. I found hair on one of the towels and by the sink and on the bed. I was too tired to go back to reception as it was almost midnight.

The hotel was clean and staff friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The hotel requires complete refurbishment. Furniture and decor is very outdated. The layout of the room was strange, two door when entering the room. The hotel needs better sound insulation. I can hear people walking up and down, talking in rooms next door. Rooms smelt damp and the carpet was sticky and needs replacing. The sofa in the reception area looks as though it needs to go in the bin. The restrant/reception was really strange and having the two together and again it all needs refurbishing.

Would definitely stay again.
Pros:

There is ample parking facilities on site and it is free providing you enter your registration at reception on arrival. The staff were very pleasant, cheerful and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are adequate for their purpose with plenty of the usual facilities, teas, coffee, etc. The room was clean with plenty of towels. The shower was excellent, powerful and hot. The breakfasts were excellent, plentiful and cooked to order.

Cons:

It would have been better if the hotel provided evening meals as the description on booking.com made no mention of this at the time of booking. Also there is a different rate for pre booked breakfasts, but again, there was no facility or mention of this on the description on Booking.com.

Pros:

Mirror in bedroom to high couldn’t see to dry hair. The entrance and stairs and corridor to room was not up to standard . Needs painting , it looked more like a prison corridor, was not inviting, but the room was a good standard and warm and clean, water was hot .
