The view was excellent, and the people was friendly. But I was hoping for balcony, alt here no basis amenities no too brush no soap, room was dirty and windows edge was Dusty, bathroom smell really bad and bath shower don’t drain.
It was ok, not the best
The place was clean and the guards were courteous. Only complaint was they forgot to replenish the toilet paper:((
Booked through Booking.com for overnight stay at Maui’s Condotel at Azure Residences, and I was enticed by the cheap price since I was travelling for business purposes and will be staying only for a few hours. Notified in advance of late check in, since it was indicated in the listing that they allow check-in from 3-11pm. Was provided with a list of on-duty staff prior, but no replies/confirmation of my request for late check-in. Should have realized from this that it was a scam. I arrived at the property by 8PM. Guards blocked me at the entrance asking for QR code provided by the host, which was not forwarded to me, nor was I informed that there will be a QR code. After calling all numbers provided to me, I finally got a response from one staff. Lo and behold, he informed me that they do not accept check-in after 5PM. In short, I was not accommodated. Because I was desperate and tired from my flight, I asked for other options. Guard gave me a contact number for a host. Amazing that the guard was able to give the number easily, as if it was already agreed and rehearsed. Contacted the number and he gave me a price for a unit, which was double the price listed in the Booking app. Was so frustrated and disappointed that I was scammed by this property, i canceled my booking and had to book and take a taxi again to another hotel.
After booking my stay at a certain rate and just after I can not cancel I get email stating that there is additional fees for cleaning which was almost as expensive as room.
So upon arrival had no choice to pay for cleaning of room and the whole time I was there no came to cleanroom.
upon checkout I complained about it and they said that we needed to request ??? Which we did but no one ever showed up.. Would not refund... So beware take note of all the reviews they are true we just did not believe because never experienced anything like that before .
Hello i usually don't write negative review, But this place can be very deceiving, Do not get me wrong the place is beautiful but once you book with them, This is where the scamming part come in play, On Booking.com it say i only have to pay 27K pesos when i book with them, Upon check-in (March 4) i notice they did not have scanner to scan my pay for my credit card and they want cash or gcash upfront which i do not own gcash, So they up the price to 28K pesos (520$), I was so tired and i had to go to a atm just to pay them which i did, After that they want more money from me, Knowing that i am an foreigner, And i was get mad but i end up give in and gave it to them, After they left, I found out the microwave was broken, The place have roaches, The Internet cut off for hours or days, No hot water, No netflix, (My Last year hotel Prisma Residence have everything present and it was less money) They gave me this room on purpose just to make me mad and they should be ashamed of there self, But I been trying for days to contact the owner but they keep ignore me or sent me to a stupid Ai machine (Which in my opinion the philippines should not be using Ai) I just want to voice my frustration that this may be an 4 star resort for marketing but once you book with them they are ready to scam you of your money, And what make it worse is that i stuck here until the 24th which can get here an any sooner, Anyway thank you for read this post, Like i say i rarely post on here but i want to voice my frustrated, That azure is a scam of a resort with insane hidden fee 😕
Booked for 5 nights, there was no housekeeping despite requests. It was too hot in the room even with the air conditioning on. Some appliances didn’t work
We were so excited to use the pool but they didn’t let us because they were cleaning it. When we arrived, we were not aware that the host shall send us a QR code so the guard who happens to be so rude to us from the time we arrived didn’t let us in. So we have to keep sending messages and tried to call the host but he never answered the call. He responded with the QR code but it took a little while before we received it. They should have informed us well so we won’t feel lost when we got in there. We also hope that the guards will be more friendly because the property is beautiful but having unpleasant employees can ruin a day.
This is the worst hotel I ever visited. From customer service to facilities is so terrible. Was so excited to celebrate my son’s birthday thought it would be a great place for family bonding but all the efforts travelling to this hotel just went to stress. Customer Service are so rude. You pay for the place to swim but you need to pay to the pool to swim. Will not recommend this place
DONT GO THERE, IT IS A SCAM!!!
Me and my girlfriend thought we had booked a nice hotel with a swimming pool after a long flight. Once we arrived we were quickly approached in an unfriendly manner by a security guard. The security guards had us call the number of the travel organization, even though we had shown our confirmation email. As a tourist we had no internet on our first day and we could not make phone calls. Despite our explanation and our confirmation email, which we received via WiFi at the airport, the security guards did not want to let us onto the premises. Ultimately, I became angry at the injustice done to us and I walked to the reception of the building. The security guards tried in vain to stop me. After showing the confirmation email, the reception staff did not want to help us. They literally shrugged their shoulders. There were many victims around us, including 2 older women who had been lying on a bench near the building for 5 hours and who were also not allowed to enter the building. We ended up booking another hotel.
IT'S A SCAM!!!! DON'T BOOK A ROOM DESPITE THE OTHER REVIEWS!!!
You lose your money and you can spend the night somewhere else or on the street!
The place is great and pleasing to the eye. But as the saying goes “Looks can be deceiving.” So dont be deceived. Amenities are only exclusive for unit owners and residents. So if you are renting for a night, 2 nights, a week. They are not free. Especially the swimming pool where you have to pay twice in a day.
I don't want to have to take out the trash.
No hot water in shower in first unit, refused to stay, fridge broken in second unit, water leaks in comfort room
Where do I start with this place. I never gave a bad review in any place we stayed at. I have stayed in numerous places in the philippines but this one is the worst. First off, I booked this place through booking.com and it had good reviews but little did I know they were by the same person that gave the good reviews and he just repeated what he said. I should have throughly checked but i was rushing to get a place to stay.
1. The check in process is lengthy. First i booked it and 30 minutes I wanted to cancel
because I didn’t realize i booked it already. There was a cancellation fee up to how much much I was staying so basically 400 dollars to cancel even though i tried canceling in 30 minutes. Next, when we got there the guards asked for QR code which we did not get so we had to wait 30 minutes for the manager to finally process all of our IDs and then we had to wait in a line for another 20 minutes for us to get checked in.
2. They only accept cash or Gcash. The front desk does not process the payment. You don’t pay until you get up to the room. Also, booking.com said 12,000 pesos when i booked it went up to 19,000 but when it was time to pay it was 23,000 pesos. I also was not able to use my booking wallet of $106 online they said they accept it but when i got to the property they only accept cash and do not accept my booking wallet. At that point i was just so hungry i was like whatever I’ll just pay it. We also did not get a receipt.
3. The condition of the room was DISGUSTING!!! The worse I have ever stayed. Let me start with the tiling of the floor. So many cracks everywhere and the microwave had a hole in the front of it. The bed is so uncomfortable and noisy any movement it squeaks. The AC is out of date and dirty and it blows right towards where are heads are suppose to be. The water is disgusting and smells so awful. I decided to use drinking water instead it’s so gross. There is dust everywhere and mold. There are footprints on the wall and the balcony smells like pee. The wood of everything is peeling and broken. The worse part is the COCKROACHES 🪳 when we left the room for only a couple hours there was about 25-30 of them all over the pots and pans, the walls, the cracks of the tiles, in the bathroom, and even our bed. I mean everywhere!! Even in the hallway so I don’t think there’s only an infestation in one room but the building. It even smelled when we walked in like really horrendous. I started getting rashes all over my legs and arms. I just got so itchy.
4. The customer service is atrocious! When we called about the cockroaches he explained that we shouldn’t have turned off the AC. They said there shouldn’t be roaches because they sprayed before we checked in. So they knew they had a roach problem but doesn’t care. It felt like it was our fault that we had cockroaches. He said that we couldn’t move rooms until noon the next day and i asked for a refund and even that I’ll pay for two days and he said no. He hung up on me and continued not to answer any future calls. I called booking.com and they were more than willing to help but the owner did not answer them either.
5. Nothing positive about this place. You have to pay a 250 peso each person to use the pool any time you use it. The gym is for gym members only. You have to buy your own water and amenities. Barely any restaurants just SM mall. The locations horrible with crazy traffic right in front of the building. I would have rather stayed in a clean place with no AC then stay in this room.
Omg, just don’t know where to start in this military camp. First of all the apartment wasn’t even ready and the owner didn’t know we were even coming, (careful it’s a resort for scammers). Eventually they got us into an apartment but it was awful, tiny, cramped, not clean, mattresses badly stained, no balcony just a view from the bedroom window of a trading estate. If you would like to use the pool you have to pay and it has a morning session and an afternoon session. As for the internet pictures it all needs a good clean and paint.
Just avoid we left after a couple of days, couldn’t stay as we hated it, went to savoy hotel where it was excellent
Can hear noise through walls. WiFi is fast but sometimes slow. Good air conditioning, Netflix available. Our room felt a little rushed (missing toiletries) but overall a decent stay.
This apartment was picked by my best friend while we were searching for a nice place to stay in Manila last May. We chatted to the owner called "Luc" and he's very helpful and attentive to our queries about their properties. We decided to book our dates 11-14 of October 2024. Upon paying the £110 3 nights at their apartment, Airbnb brought up a pop up screen of option:
To pay half (May 2024) at the time of paying and pay half before the 2nd of October 2024.
We decided to pay half first because we have 5 months to go before our flight in October. The payment was successfully collected which was £55.80 with a receipt via my Gmail account. I contacted "Luc" in September that I wanted to pay the remaining balance of the apartment and I asked him specifically where to find the remaining balance of £55.80 because the Airbnb app wasn't user friendly to navigate around so that I could pay it full. Luc replied it's now fully paid. I said: Oh okay thanks!
On the 9th of October I received an email from Airbnb saying that I didn't pay my booking for the apartment so I contacted the host.
I will let you read the host appalling self-explanatory customer service 👇
I let you be the judge about his customer service skills even the most holy saint would be flabbergasted and appalled how this man communication skills would put everyone to stay out of his apartment. He said that he's not aware that Airbnb allowed me to pay partial payment. How could you not know that it was a partial payment if he was expecting £110 into his bank and only received £55.80 and this was back in May 2024.
If you don't want to experience this kind of appalling customer service with an unhinged mentality I suggest please go somewhere else because there are many beautiful apartments in Manila where the hosts have an accommodating and welcoming customer service skills. This man never heard of "The Customer Is alright right" in his tiny little world.
Really toooo far from expectations. more importantly NEVER USE AGODA. They allow property to charge extra cash after the payment on the webpage. i paid complete amount given on webpage with my card but when went to place on check-in time i was asked for another 40 dollars. They simply works like scam. STAY AWAY!!
Rating: 5/5 Stars
I had the pleasure of staying at Azure Urban Resort Residences, and it truly is a gem in the heart of Metro Manila! The ambience is excellent, with well-maintained facilities that include stunning pools, a basketball court, playgrounds, a gym, and a beach club. The security is top-notch, with personnel present 24/7, making you feel safe and secure throughout your stay.
However, it's crucial to book your stay through a trusted website like Airbnb, as the check-in process requires specific protocols, including owner registration to their guest portal. Avoid booking through Agoda or Booking.com, as same-day bookings may not be accepted.
To ensure a world-class hosting experience, choose hosts with high ratings on Airbnb. I noticed many negative reviews from guests who booked through the wrong sites, so be sure to do your research.
Once you've booked and communicated with your host, you'll receive a QR code before arrival. This smooths out the check-in process, making your stay even more enjoyable.
While the constant traffic outside the main roads can be a challenge, it's a small price to pay for this oasis in the city. Azure Urban Resort Residences is a hidden gem, and with the right booking and preparation, you'll have an amazing experience.
So, book through Airbnb, pack your bags, message your host, and get ready to unwind in this urban paradise!
We arrived at the Azure Maui Building, where we were stopped by their security personnel asking for a QR code. We booked through Agoda on the same day we were checking in. We were unable to reach the lobby as we were unable to produce the QR code. We explained that we did not receive any notification of this requirement, as the Agoda booking seemed straightforward after receiving the booking confirmation. We had an infant with us, so imagine the difficulty of waiting outside on the street arguing about this QR code.
One security guard questioned, "Did you only book this today?" and asked how many of the 8 days we were staying. He asked how much we paid and mentioned that we could have booked directly with them. This seemed odd to me, as they can ask questions but seem unaware of the pointless journey they are setting you up for and cannot provide answers. We were informed we could not go inside full stop. I knew this was a trap for those who would simply accept their penalties. But not me!
I sent an inquiry to Agoda App regarding the QR code. However, I managed to reach Agoda UK's customer service number and explained the poor service we encountered on arrival at the Azure and the lack of information provided after booking and regarding the unreasonable check-in prerequisites.
The property management group, who I believe processes the check-in requirements and manages the rented units, replied to my inquiry about the QR code. They said they required a 5000 pesos bank transfer deposit with proof and IDs of all guests before they could process the QR code. This requirement is astronomical, especially since it was already 8 pm, and no further information about where or to whom to send the bank transfer and ID details was provided. Our infant was crying due to the intense heat at the entrance gate. With time running out, we risked losing the entire cancellation refund. I brought all this to the attention of the Agoda Customer Service in the UK, who empathetically listened to me, agreeing that it was impossible to meet the Property Management Group's demands due to time constraints and unreasonable check-in prerequisites. I have stayed at the Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai and was never asked for anything like these check-in requirements. So, if you do not want to be turned away in the street, I urge you not to book this place or waste your money! You have been warned!!
