What a peaceful stay we had at the Tiki Tiki Hotel!
Pros:

The staff is incredibly friendly, professional and helpful. They made us feel at home!

We arrived earlier than expected and luckily the staff was able to accommodate us with our room ahead of schedule! Thank you for that! They’re also easily reachable via WhatsApp through your entire stay.

Regarding the location : You are located quite close from Tulum’s center, we wouldn’t walk from the hotel to the city center but by car or collectivo you’re 5mins away. The neighborhood of La Veleta is very enjoyable to walk through, plenty of nice little restaurants, convenient stores, it was very quiet at the end of May.

We had the common areas for ourselves during the entire stay! The pool is refreshing and the bar is also a plus if you want to have a drink after a long day of visiting.

Breakfast : I’ve heard a lot of people complain about the breakfast but honestly this is all you need to start the day. The fruits are freshly cut, the juice freshly pressed, it’s healthy and it fills you quite well, don’t forget it’s already hot and humid out there so honestly we didn’t feel like eating too much in this weather.

The WiFi works very well.

No TV in the room and honestly we would’ve never needed one.

Room and bed super cozy and comfortable.

A/C works perfectly, and is quiet overnight.

Drinkable water : You have to keep in mind that you have to manage your drinkable water supply for the bedroom. A jar is left in the room for you to use and fill up at the bar of the hotel if you need more drinkable water. For more convenience and also to not rely solely on the water available at the bar, we bought some packs of water at the corner store to be able to have some water for our many excursions.

Tiki Tiki Hotel is definitely a gem on the edge of the heart of Tulum that is so much better in my opinion than staying at huge resorts. If you want some more intimate, relaxing and welcoming place to stay at, this is the one :)

Cons:

Achei o café da manhã muito simples: era composto apenas por pão, frutas, geleia, manteiga e café, talvez seja da cultura mexicana e não necessariamente uma falha do hotel, mas me fez falta proteínas como ovos, presunto, entre outros

Amazing stay!
Pros:

The decor and vibe is stunning and very zen! (The tiles were a deciding factor in me booking!)

Great location for Calle 7 neighbourhood and exploring downtown Tulum. The staff - Naomi and Julia - were brilliant, welcoming and hopeful will their recommendations! The cocktails poolside were some of the best of our trip.

Would 100% recommend!

Cons:

Everything was amazing - although the playlist was a slightly repetitive ‘you never can tell’ will be the song of our stay!

Séjour à Tulum
Pros:

Légèrement excentré du centre-ville cet hôtel offre un cadre calme et reposant que nous avons particulièrement apprécié. La terrasse ainsi que le rooftop sont très agréables. Le service de bar en début de soirée est également appréciable.

Cons:

La mise à disposition de vélos gratuits ou en location serait utiles compte tenu des distances à parcourir depuis la réception. Il serait aussi intéressant de proposer plus de variété au petit-déjeuner, qui est identique jour après jour et mériterait d'être renouvelé.

Je ne reviendrai pas dans cet hôtel si je reviens à tulum plus de négatifs que de positifs

Il n’y a pas vraiment de centre à tulum mais la rue principale est à 8 min en voiture

Musique et personne saoul dans l’hôtel jusque 1:00 du mat sans qu’aucun menbre du personnel n’interviennent

Reposant, bon emplacement,restaurants à proximité
Pros:

La chambre (suite royale) était très bien pour notre petite famille avec une immense terrasse!
Le bar et la piscine sont très bien décorés.
Possibilité d’aller à l’holistica ☺️

Cons:

Un peu bruyant (mais c’est très rare) car la chambre est située au dessus de la réception.

Absolutely amazing hotel, staff, space and location.
Pros:

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. Spaces were clean and comfortable. Value exceeded the price for sure.

Cons:

There was not a single thing that I did not like. The only thing that was a little different than other hotels that I stayed at is that therei s no restaurant. But thats not a problem because there are great restaurants within walking distance.
