Pros:

L'endroit est splendide avec piscine sur le toit et vue sur le City Palace qui jouxte l'hôtel.
Point de départ idéal pour visiter la vieille ville.
Le personnel est au petit soin et se soucis de votre bien être.
On y mange très très bien.

Lovely boutique hotel situated on a busy road.
Pros:

Overall, this property was an excellent value with a boutique hotel vibe. The room was comfortable, and the location was convenient. I would recommend it.

Disappointing overall.
Pros:

The location was excellent

Cons:

The 60 or so steps to reach the hotel reception were difficult for my elderly mother. There should be a clear sign that this is what you need to do. The windows face on to the courtyard, so with the blinds open, you had zero privacy and therefore had to keep the blinds down and then have no natural light in the room. The shower room had a very poor finish on tiling and woodwork. It needed hooks for your towels.

Pros:

The rooms were really nice, so was the location. Transportation arranged by the hotel was really easy and fair price.

Cons:

However, breakfast was substandard. Only on our last morning there was a bigger buffet variety than the previous days - probably because of more bookings. Staff was alright but not everyone was friendly. The pool area is okay, but not nice enough to spend a few hours there. Towels at the pool were quite dirty and there wasn’t any catering service upstairs, even though staff didn’t have anything to do in the restaurant and the bar wasn’t too far away.

Exceptional stay, a true highlight of our India trip
Pros:

By far the best accommodation of our entire India trip. After some rougher segments, this felt like a real treat. The location is excellent, close to the center but removed from the chaos, which makes a big difference in Udaipur.

The entrance is stunning, with lush plants and elegant stairs that immediately set the tone. The service is outstanding, genuinely on par with a world-class hotel. The entire property is beautiful, with great attention to detail.

The restaurant (dore) was another highlight, serving the best food and cocktails we had in Udaipur. The pool is amazing, and the view of the City Palace is simply incredible.

The staff were consistently attentive and also created a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. The room itself was fantastic, extremely comfortable and with a real sense of luxury, you genuinely feel a bit like royalty staying there.

We would absolutely come back and stay longer next time.

Cons:

It’s not a cheap option, but considering the level of comfort, service, and overall experience, it felt completely worth it, especially coming from Europe.
