It was very comfortable

It was very close to all the activities and it was clean and very nice.

La ubicación del hotel es ideal. De forma recta se puede apreciar el volcan de agua y del otro lado el Cerro de la Cruz

Cons:

El personal de recepción no soy muy amables. La ducha del baño estaba bien sucia hasta con moho. Cuando seleccione la habitación me indicada que tendría vista al jardín. El jardín se encontraba en mal estado.

They required cash only and did not offer a discount as per normal business hours. Nor could they give an official factura/ tax receipt. This indicates shadiness in business dealings with tourists.

Worst hotel I’ve ever experienced

I have traveled all over the world and have stayed in some pretty rough lodging establishments. That being said, Hotel Mansion Del Rey was the worst I’ve ever experienced. The one guy at the front desk was extremely unpleasant. The room was more like a dungeon and had cobwebs in every corner. The towels had stains and there were bugs on the nightstand. My girlfriend has asthma and the air quality was affecting her breathing. We stayed for about 45 min and made the decision to forfeit the money and get another hotel. Again, the guy at the desk shrugged his shoulders and did not care. I would stay in a tent before I would ever recommend this establishment.
