A vacation within a vacation.
Pros:

Beautiful. Although on a busy street, the house is set back and is very quiet. Alex is amazing. So calm and elegant. He has a talent in making the guest feel special, but in an authentic, not phony way.

Cons:

No Kleenex in the room. I asked for some. The staff tried to accommodate but the best they could do was restaurant napkins.

Séjour agréable dans un bel endroit!
Pros:

Très belle maison centenaire avec beaucoup de charme, très tranquille, confortable et très bien située. Le personnel a été vraiment très gentil et aidant. Ça devait être un enregistrement autonome mais finalement il y avait une jeune fille à la réception qui nous a accueilli et qui nous a aidé, fait visiter et donné des informations utiles. C’était parfait!

exhausting due to a fire alarm battery dying all night long and keeping us awake
Cons:

fire alarm battery on the ceiling went off all night long our last night and the response from management was appalling. not any kind of compensation for the lack of quality sleep was offered.

Pros:

Eine charmante, historische Unterkunft und Restaurant mit vielen liebevollen Details. Sehr gepflegte Außenanlage und eine nette Bar. Man kann mit offenem Fenster schlafen.

Cons:

Es handelt sich um das, was wir in Deutschland einen Gasthof nennen. Entsprechend üppig die Hauptgerichte. Um 22.00 Uhr ist dann Betriebsende. Leider haben wir es irgendwie nicht richtig verstanden, dass es auch Frühstück gibt. Dazu gibt es aber auch ein Stück weiter die Straße hinauf ein nettes Café.

Tait House was a lovely place to stay and the kind staff and the wonderful restaurant helped make it a perfect weekend f
Pros:

The staff was welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean with comfortable beds. There was no noise from the street or other rooms. A lovely foyer for morning coffee or pre dinner wine or tea. Extra coffee, water, and refrigeration was readily available. The food in the restaurant was fantastic! We had breakfast and it was so good we decided to make reservations for dinner. We were not disappointed. The location in the village was a 10 minutes walk to anything in the downtown area.

Cons:

A small table in the room would be helpful. The sensor light on the heat pump is bright and creates ambient light during the night.

Very comfortable and welcoming stay at a beautiful hotel.
Pros:

Everything was top notch. I loved that the property retains historic details but with excellent modern facilities. The bed, with crisp white linens, was so comfortable. The bathroom luxurious. The hotel had several delightful areas to relax including the cosy bar with velvet seating, the all day cafe on an inviting glassed in verandah and even a little reading nook on the first floor. Perfect for this solo traveller. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. Plentiful free parking. I didn’t use the dining room but highly recommend the creme brûlée if you’re looking for an after dinner drink and dessert in the bar. Close the Shediac’s gorgeous beaches and wharf.

Cons:

Breakfast included in the price would be nice.

Pros:

A lovely old building in Shediac but well modernized inside. It is close to all amenities such as groceries, drug store, liquor store, and restaurants… though its own restaurant is well priced compared to others.
The rooms have access to ‘common’ fridges and the little balcony above the front entrance (see photo) is great for an evening drink and watch the sunset.
The staff were charming and helpful.

Un endroit où on allie le confort et gastronomie
