This was honestly the most perfect stay we’ve ever had. Everything exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. The views from our balcony over the vineyards and mountains were absolutely breathtaking, and enjoying a coffee there each morning was a highlight of our trip.

Dinner was outstanding! Some of the best food we had during our time in Albania and the wine was absolutely delicious. Breakfast was also exceptional, with the freshest local ingredients and everything beautifully prepared. We also loved being surrounded by the animals, which made the whole experience feel so peaceful and authentic. Every little detail was perfect, and it was such a relaxing place to switch off.

We genuinely couldn’t recommend The Barrels more and would absolutely love to come back one day.

Die wunderschöne Lage, das freundliche Personal, das leckere Essen, die sauberen und liebevoll eingerichteten Zimmer und viele weitere Details haben unseren kurzen Aufenthalt wirklich unvergesslich gemacht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Największą zaletą tego miejsca są właściciele, przemili ludzie którzy są zawsze otwarci i uczynni. Do tego pyszne domowe jedzenie i przepyszne wino z własnej winnicy. Rewelacja

Alles hier was echt geweldig! Het personeel is vriendelijk, gezellig, werkt hard en houdt van een grapje. De kamer was voorzien van alles wat je nodig had met een prachtig uitzicht. Erg netjes, mooi en modern en een goed werkende airco. Wij hebben een wijnproeverij gedaan, daarna ‘s avonds gegeten en het was echt super. Het ontbijt is ook goed, uitgebreid en lekker!
De atmosfeer van het restaurant/terras is ook geweldig! Je eet letterlijk tussen de wijnranken en de kippen scharrelen door de wijngaard. Een heerlijk puur gevoel. Wij komen hier zeker terug als wij nog eens in Albanië zijn. Ga hier echt heen!

Mycket bra gästfrihet och service från de trevliga ägarna. Otroligt fin miljö att sitta bland vinrankorna och äta den goda maten tillsammans med bra vin. Fint och fräscht rum.

Marcel and Esmeralda made us feel like we were at home. The location was beautiful, away from all the noise and at one with nature. The rooms were of an exceptional quality and the food and beverage choices offered in the garden are amazing!

Breakfast was simple - eggs - veg - bread -> but this simplicity adds to the charm. It was perfect.

Prachtige locatie, zalige wine tasting met goed gevulde glazen. Eten was ook heel lekker, Marcel en Esmeraldo zijn top! Heel vriendelijk, prachtig uitzicht ook op de wijngaard tijdens het eten. Kamer was ook groot, modern en grote badkamer.

Alojamiento en zona apartada y tranquila, entre la naturaleza de sus viñedos, campos y huerto. Y todo a 7 minutos del centro.

We stayed at The Barrels MS as part of a road trip around Albania, and it was easily one of our best stops. We arrived earlier than our check-in time, and the owner kindly let us store our bags in the room even though it was still being cleaned from the previous guests - a small touch that set the tone for the whole stay.

The room itself exceeded every expectation: spacious for two, spotless, modern, with grapevines growing right over the balcony fence. It felt like a proper retreat after days on the road.

The owners were wonderful - warm, attentive, and clearly proud of what they’ve built. We ended up spending the entire afternoon in the restaurant area overlooking the vineyard, sipping locally grown wine and watching their chickens, cats, and dogs wander about. As animal lovers, this was a real highlight for us.

The food was fantastic - the homemade bread and pickles especially stood out - and breakfast the next morning was just as good, setting us up perfectly for the next leg of our trip.

For dinner, drinks, and a night’s stay, the whole thing came to under £100 - incredible value for money. You can really tell the owners have poured their hearts into this place. Couldn’t recommend it more highly.

The Barrels Ms è una vera chicca in mezzo ai vigneti poco distante dalla bellissima Argirocastro.
Le camere sono moderne, pulite e confortevoli; lo staff è davvero professionale e gentilissimo, super premuroso anche nei confronti del nostro bimbo.
Ottima la cena e anche la colazione con prodotti a KM0, davvero un’esperienza bellissima.

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux à The Barrels Ms et nous le recommandons sans hésiter. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec une chaleur incroyable : on ne se sentait pas comme de simples clients, mais comme des membres de la famille. Nos hôtes sont d'une gentillesse et d'une générosité rares, toujours attentifs à ce que nous ne manquions de rien. Le cadre est tout simplement magnifique, entouré d'une nature préservée et apaisante qui invite à la détente et à la déconnexion. C'est l'endroit idéal pour se ressourcer, loin de l'agitation, dans une ambiance authentique et conviviale. Un grand merci à toute l'équipe pour ce moment inoubliable — nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !
