No room at the Inn! Didn't get the chance to stay.

On arriving at the hotel, (pre booked and prepaid for 3 nights in advance) My colleague was told 'there are no available rooms due to an issue from the previous night'. it was 10pm at night! The hotel manager did try to find an alternative for one night and then left my colleague to sort the rest himself. (this was during Farnborough Airshow! almost an impossible task!) For 4 weeks we have tried to speak to the hotel manager to action a refund, nobody has bothered to call us back or offer help. We wanted to do this through the hotel as the manager did stand the cost of a low budget hotel 10 miles away for one night and we wanted to honour that through a reduced refund, but sadly nil response from the hotel management team. Today I spoke directly to booking.com who have actioned the full refund and i am now awaiting the payment in full in the next 7 days.

Lovely hotel
Pros:

Excellent staff.. I had booked what I thought was a ground floor room, but it was actually on lower ground floor. Staff very helpful and managed to get us a ground floor room. Buffet breakfast was excellent and again staff very friendly and helpful
