Clean and friendly
Nothing
There was no breakfast offered
Supper was excellent and breakfast was good. Bed was comfy.
Outside access to room was very shabby and carpet was grimy. I kept socks on to walk around room and they were quite grubby afterwards. I do appreciate it was a dog room and it's harder to keep them clean.
The room was nice clean spacious.
Food was lovely, services was good. Staff were friendly, nice and polite.
Only found out after checking in and booking and paying for me next stay that no breakfast was avaliable during week days.
Not great value for money.
The room and restaurant was lovely.
The shower was noisy and dripped loudly for a long time after use
Lovely friendly place to stay
The Birley Arms was lovely. The staff all warm and friendly. The room was clean and very spacious- as was the bathroom.
There was ironing board, hair drier and trouser press in room along with a fan.
There was a kettle and ample brew making tackle, fresh milk could be requested from the bar for brews if preferred and there were no issues at all asking for more of anything.
Our room was freshened up each day and bins emptied. Extra towels provided also.
There was confusion over breakfast as they only do them if ordered the previous night, they told us the website needed updating on this. We had our evening meals in the Birley twice and they were delicious and exceptional value.
The car park was spacious and was free (which is unusual)
I also wanted to watch the meteroites outside at 3am and this was no issue to the hotel part at all. - was all accessable.
It was in a gorgeous area (Wrea Green) and an easy, smooth drive into Lytham one day and Blackpool the other.
We were overall really pleased with the Birley and will stay again if in the area.
There wasnt anything other than a little confusion over breakfast. Website needs updating or information shared with customers on booking in
Great location. Friendly staff. Good food. Clean rooms. Dog friendly.
Food a little expensive but not enough to stop me staying again.
Nice large room.
Very clean.
Nice pub.
Good location to Lytham for our 40’s weekend. The pub is lovely, but upstairs lets it down
The room was definitely not worth the money. Dirty, scruffy bed base that was on show with no valance. Maybe a wooden bed on legs would be better. Walls scuffed and dirty marks. Toilet roll holder not fixed to the wall properly, so hung down. Overall a grim room
Good food and friendly staff. Plenty of parking.
Nothing stands out.
The friendliness of the staff. The big comfortable bed. The clean well-appointed room. The evening meals were delicious.
The breakfast. Breakfasts are only served at the weekend. They were mediocre at best and very expensive. You even had to pay extra for a pot of tea. The breakfast really let the otherwise experience of the hotel down.
Friendly helpful staff.
Room clean.
Good location near shops and motorways.
Rooms are hot no Aircon and windows inadequate.
No black out curtains important in summer months.
NO WIFI In rooms I was located in room 8.first floor. Only access to WiFi was in the bar.
Nice bar and restaurant clean rooms
Large room, staff friend, nice atmosphere and restaurant
