Cozy Sand Beach Hotel

Eine unserer schönsten Unterkünfte in Sri Lanka. Nette Bungalows, wir hatten einen mit eigenem Bad. Alles top sauber in einem wunderschönen Garten, wo man abends noch vor seinem Zimmer sitzen kann. Auch von der Lage top, ruhig eher am Anfang des Ortes, 1min zum für uns schönsten Strandabschnitt mit netten kleinen Restaurant.
Das, was diese Unterkunft aber so besonders macht, sind die zwei Gastgeber, die sich mit genau der richtigen Mischung aus Interesse und Zurückhaltung um die Gäste kümmern. Wir haben eine geniale Tuk Tuk Safari mit Ihnen gemacht. Krokodile, Elefanten und zum Abschluss den Sonnenuntergang am Elephant Rock.
Sie kümnern sich auch gerne um weitere Buchungen/Organisation.

Nous avons tout aimé au Cozy Sand Beach! L’emplacement (à 2 pas de l’océan), la propreté des chambres et leur confort, et surtout les hôtes : Musa et Mufa! Ils ont été si sympathiques avec nous et disponibles : ils nous ont organisé un super safari et une session surf, c’était incroyable ! Grâce à eux, on s’est senties comme à la maison. Mille mercis à vous, si on revient au Sri Lanka, c’est certain que nous reviendrons chez vous!

Great place, Mosa and Mofa, the owners, made us feel at home and took care of us in the best possible manner. Rooms are good, and withe a beautiful inner garden.

שהיתי 4 ימים בהוסטל והיה מצוין. הגינה יפה ופורחת והמקום שקט ונעים. שני האחים שמנהלים את ההוסטל מאוד אדיבים ונדיבים. נענו תמיד לכל בקשה וסיפקו מה שהיה צריך. נתנו לי לעשות צ׳ק אין מוקדם וצ׳ק אווט מאוחר בלי תוספת תשלום.

Mufa und sein sein Bruder Musi sind super liebenswerte Gastgeber sie haben uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt.
Der Willkommens Drink war super und nach dem Surfen haben die beiden Wassermelone serviert.
Das Cozy Sand finden wir auch von der Bepflanzung sehr schön und die ganze Anlage ist sehr sauber. Die Preis Leistung stimmt absolut wir waren mehr als zufrieden und können es wärmstens weiter empfehlen.
Ein grosses Dankeschön an euch beide.

We had a really good time at cozy sand beach! the location is perfect, close to the beach and restaurants, but calm because it is not directly at the main road. our room was very clean and the bed was comfy. the hosts are amazing, they arranged everything for us for reasonable prices, and the breakfast was delicious, they even organized pittu especially for us.:) thank you very much again!

Extreme superb stay

The staff were extremely friendly, always there to help us. Location was good. You have your own small ‘house’

Very good value for money.
We were upgraded to a room with AC, which was very nice as it was very hot and humid.
The hotel is very quiet, but conveniently located close to the beach and many excellent restaurants.
The room was small and rather dark, but offered everything we needed (very good fan and AC, mosquito net), and the very nice outdoor seating in the lush green garden more than made up for it.
Even though our plan did not include breakfast, we were offered a wonderfully strong coffee every morning. The owners were incredibly friendly and helped us with whatever we needed (laundry, transport).

As the name says, it is a super cozy room, clean, very close to the beach and 5 minutes walk from town center which it is very nice because it is quiet and not very busy. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. If you need something just ask, from a TukTuk to a Safari :)

Unfassbar nette Hosts die alles mögliche organisiert haben, eine gute Lage am Rand vom Trubel. Und durch die Außenanlagen kühl und sehr gut zum Entspannen.

Excellent accueil de la part de Mufa et Musa. Ils sont de très bon conseil. L'hôtel est charmant et très bien situé (à deux pas de la plage). La chambre et la salle de bain étaient propres. De plus, ils proposent un service lessive impeccable. Un grand merci !

La chambre correspond aux attentes des prix. Le grand point fort de cet établissement est son personnel. Le monsieur était très à l’écoute et aux petits soins pour nous.

Cozy Sand Beach Hotel is a great spot that really matches the easy-going vibe of Arugam Bay. It’s simple, relaxed, and has that boho style where you don’t need luxury to feel good. The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable, and it feels like everyone’s welcome here.

I really enjoyed their fresh mango juice while chilling with the sea breeze. A big thanks to Musi and Mufa for taking such good care of my 10-year-old son — they were amazing and made us feel at home. This place is perfect if you’re looking for a laid-back stay right by the beach.

De eigenaren zijn twee broers en zijn ontzettend vriendelijk! Wij vroegen of we drinken konden kopen bij het verblijf, dit was niet op de locatie zelf maar hij ging meteen voor ons naar de winkel. Ontzettend lief!
Prima kamers, goede wifi & airconditioning. Binnen 1 minuut aan het strand.
