We had an amazing stay!! Beforehand we saw the reviews so we didn’t come with super high expectations but it was phenomenal and passed all expectations!! We had a full week of scuba diving with awesome instructors who always made a big effort in finding everything they could at each dive spot- Yano and Kenneth + the amazing boat crew who were always there to help too to make us comfortable. Kenneth was the dive manager who was very knowledgeable and gave great advice when I was nervous. The beach can get some rubbish on it from the current but they make a big effort to clean the beach every morning so it looks beautiful. They have a beautiful jetty with big schools of fish underneath- we even saw baby sharks there so it’s a great snorkelling spot if you want a lazy day. Wifi was good too!
The reception crew were very lovely (ALL the staff were friendly and lovely!) Organisation was well communicated and easy so everything went smoothly. The room was comfortable and spacious with good aircon. You can get the occasional insect but nothing major that made our stay uncomfortable. It’s clean and maintained well. The water was the most clear I’ve ever seen!
The restaurant was also great as you get such a large variety of food. We stayed there 6 nights and never had the same food twice! So it’s super varied and you get lots of it so you will never go hungry! The food was very well done- very well flavoured and cooked.
Also, all the waitress’ were very kind, always smiling and attentive. BIG shoutout to Miranda and Yuke for putting sooo much effort into our stay! They made such a big effort to get to know us and have fun with us. Always bringing entertainment and happy times everyday. On my last day, they noticed I like to dance so (when they weren’t working also!!) they provided a night for me with music and dancing with them. We had so much fun and such a laugh together!!
I have nothing negative to say
Sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Essen
Familienbungalow sehr spartanisch eingerichtet, die Deluxe sind sehr gut
The location on a very nice sandy bay , the staff were all excellent.
I was in the more basic of the accommodation they offer , which although the accommodation was great , you were made to feel you were in the “staff area” as although the beach area in front of the more expensive accommodation was very well maintained , the beach area outside of my accommodation was littered with plastic and appears to have been that way for some time it would be of benefit to your resort and the environment in general if you had a plastic sweep of the area from the corner back to where the cheaper accommodation ends once again , no cabana’s or sitting areas except outside the prime accommodation and although there are a few outside of the nicer accommodation which I did make use of I guess in peak season this would not be an option. Acknowledging you want to maintain the rustic island living, the once maintained foot path to the restaurants is not a great surface at the moment , the well trafficked route to the accommodation can I suggest that the more pronounced tree roots that these are highlighted ( for example painted a light colour as they are not so visableb and I did trip up on different ones a number of times and being remote as you are I would hate for someone to have a serious accident through a fall .
Although I made my booking. Com more information regards the transport schedule shared after the bookings would be better , as I curtailed my stay by one night to get the shuttle at a more reasonable cost otherwise I would have spent more getting to and from your reaort than I did for full board accommodation for the week .an opportunity exists for your staff to advise the customer if they extend stay to align with transport schedule to sorong they they would save money and you would earn through additional stay
This stay was absolutely fantastic—felt like a cozy cabin in the woods, but with all the comforts you could want. The room was beautiful, with 24-hour AC and electricity, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. After staying in more basic homestays, this felt like such a treat—I honestly felt like a queen at this resort.
It was the perfect place to finally relax and unwind. The service was excellent throughout, and the diving experiences with the Andau team were also very well organized and enjoyable. The staff really made the effort to ensure everything ran smoothly.
The food was another highlight, with great quality and plenty of buffet options to choose from. Everything was delicious and well-prepared.
The location was also ideal—the viewpoint of Piaynemo was super close, and Rufas was one of the best dive sites we experienced during our trip.
One of the most unforgettable moments was seeing manta rays right off the jetty—such an incredible and magical experience!
Overall, this place offers amazing value for money. I would have happily stayed longer if we had the time. Highly recommend to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and memorable experiences.

The diving trips organised by the resort team were amazing. Plus the snorkelling off the beach was brilliant!
Great location for manta rays! We saw them twice just outside the homestay reef
Food was incredible, heaps of selection & quantity
Was very clean and comfortable
Aircon didn’t really work. Was really hot in the room
No mosquito net on the bed as the room is enclosed but mosquitos still got in the room and I got heaps of bites in the night
Wonderful stay at Andau Resort, Raja Ampat. Stunning location and very warm, friendly staff. Special thanks to Mr. Guntur for his excellent service and kindness. Highly recommended
Internet connection needs to be improved a bit
Beautiful location! Never saw anything like it! So close to nature.
Our cabin was not very comfortable. Not places to sit that weren’t wooden. Also our air conditioner didn’t work hardly, and it was very dark inside the cabin.
Wow what a nice place. Didn’t expect such luxurious bungalows. Very big and comfy.
Deliscious and variated buffets in the restaurant.
Kind staff everywhere.
We had two dives, trip to Piaynemo + snorkling and transport back to Waisai, everything on time and without issues.
It is convenient that all extras during your stay including tours and dives can be put on your room bill and you just pay upon checkout 😱…
Cards are accepted.
Beautiful beach.
Marketed as luxury, but rooms were not made up/clean daily unless you asked for it.
The beach was clean enough, but nobody bothered to bring in the used towels, beach mattress and cups lying around the property. The upkeep is not great.
The restaurant is kept really clean, which was a big plus for hygiene. However, food variety is none, lunch and dinner is Indonesian fare, you are served rice day in and out for lunch and dinner and if you are lucky, maybe one noodle dish in a week’s stay. I’ve no complaints on the taste, but if you have long stays, it does get boring.
Boat transportation is pricey, and the resort and reservations team do not quote the same price. If you are taking a shared shuttle, prepare to spend 4 hours in the open seas is a 2 motor boat, which is not very comfortable, but you also have the option for private transfers that cost a lot.
In my view this is not true value for money against the luxury resort that they claim. Perhaps if this is comparative to the home stays in Raja Ampat, I would say its above average.
Giving a shout out to Angel who runs the restaurant, her service is tops with a really good attitude.
The beach and the beautiful reef just close to the hotel. Food was good. Rooms were nice even though ours (family room) was quite far from the main area and lots of currents on the sea from our side of the island.
Our room was quite far from the main area, for a family room (with kids) this wasn't practical.
Bad and miscommunication with the dive center. They confirmed by messages that there was no need to book our dives in advance, but once we arrived the communication was difficult (not language barrier but they weren't well organized). They were fully booked and didn't make an effort to accomodate us easily.
