The staff was remarkable! THE ENTIRE VALET STAFF went above and beyond! The young man at the front desk ( dark hair, glasses, early twenties & usually on duty in the evening ) was very eager to accommodate our strange request for a room change. He alone was EXTREMELY helpful getting us into room 414! Both ladies at the desk in the lobby were authentic and friendly!
Fluctuating temperatures
The Marshall House was absolutely charming and full of history. The location was perfect for walking everywhere in Savannah, and the atmosphere felt warm, welcoming, and authentic. My room was beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing after long days exploring the city. Martha and Terry were especially wonderful — friendly, helpful, and genuinely made the stay feel personal and memorable. The entire experience felt special from start to finish.
Honestly, very little. Being a historic property, you occasionally hear some hallway noise, but that’s part of the charm and character of staying somewhere so iconic.
Location .. excellent breakfast .. staff was sooooo kind .
The air conditioner was very loud .
Location and happy hour
Great location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Free breakfast was great.
Bed was a little hard for me.
Loved its history and accompanying decor, but its charm was the location! Walking distance to so many parks/squares, shops and restaurants.
Exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff!
Some small adjustments were needed with our drapes, and a small freezer compartment in the mini fridge would’ve been helpful for us.
Room was shabby.
Electric plugs. You have to crawl on the floor to plug in devices

The staff is fabulous and our room was wonderful and charming. The restaurant is great!
Nothing, everything was perfect
Loved the balcony with entry thru the window! Staff was very friendly & helpful. Appreciated the complimentary water bottles, appetizers and entertainment.
Lobby could use some air conditioning and I prefer a vanity with a counter in the bathroom instead of a pedestal sink. Shower was small.
