Kenilworth castle visit
Pros:

Wonderful location, great bar with lots of different beer. The staff were lovely, very helpful. Comfy bed, quiet room. Nice breakfast

Cons:

Everything was perfect, absolutely nothing not to like.

Nice enough for the price.
Pros:

Friendly staff, reasonable price, handy location for Warwick uni. The pub at the front of the property is nice and popular with locals.

Cons:

The furniture, fittings and decor in the rooms (though not the communal areas) is now a little tired and in need of an update. Breakfast was okay for the price but quite basic.

Lovely little find
Pros:

What a lovely little find! A lovely walk to the castle and abbey from the old bakery. Only a short 10 min walk into the main town centre but a lovely pub over the road for food, and the old bakery itself is a lovely quaint pub. Breakfast was lovely and made to order.

ok, but could have been better!
Pros:

quirky pub at the front which was very nice.

Cons:

small dark room, window didnt open and therefore room was stuffy and hot, we used the fan.
Breakfast was ok, but not as good as we expected, it was quite an expensive room and we did expect more. Sausages were basic quality and the bacon which was thick cut was over cooked and therefore tough

Lovely rooms, poor accessibility
Pros:

Clean, well appointed and furnished rooms, great breakfast

Cons:

No provision for disabled parking at property or facilities for overnight parking within short (for disabled person with luggage) walking distance of hotel. Checkout complicated by the front of the hotel being locked off during the day (it is a pub) requiring another long steep walk to public car park round the side of the hotel and down across the High Street.

Excellent place to stay for a short break
Pros:

Quaint, small & friendly. Good accommodation, comfortable bed & clean bathroom with great shower.
Good tea & coffee tray, excellent breakfast & friendly staff

Cons:

Parking was a challenge, pre advice on car park position would be helpful.
Pre warning about late check in as it’s a pub with room’s & reception is behind the bar

In room 6 and must of been the darkest room ever.
Pros:

Lovely place and easy to find

Cons:

Got back to the Bakery at 23.20. Still a few at the bar but wouldn’t serve us even one drink. As a resident what difference would it have made, especially as there were 3 others drinking.
