Perfect one night stop
Pros:

Loved the unique vibe. Buzzy bar in the evening and delicious breakfast all offered in a quirky and interesting building. Great location and attentive staff.Our room was very quiet.

Cons:

Unfortunately our shower door leaked water all over the bathroom floor. We reported it when we left

Cons:

The room was very old and tired although it had been partly painted(emulsion) The shower screen was difficult to open and close and covered the controls. The step from the shower was quite high and we had to hold onto the towel tail to get out, which was quite dangerous. A hand rail was needed. The towel rail and soap dispenser were rusty. There was no safe in the room.

Pros:

The staff, the location, the atmosphere in the bar in the evening. everyone seemed to know each other - a proper local which was good to see. I also like the simplicity of the breakfast menu. It was refreshing to see, as some hotels try to hard.

Cons:

One minor thing. There was a slight smell of drains in the bathroom when I returned in the evening and in the morning, but I'm sure that will be sorted. It didn't spoil my visit.

Friendly, comfortable and great location
Pros:

Lovely, friendly team. Quiet and comfortable. Had the scrambled eggs on toast both mornings of my stay and they were lovely. Touches like bottled water are really appreciated. Great location. A buzzing little bar at the front to hang out which had no sound issues for the room.

Cons:

Very tiny detail, the extractor fan in the bathroom needs cleaning and the shower door needs refitting as it sticks.

Great stay in Kenilworth at The Old Bakery. Highly recommend.
Pros:

Great atmosphere in the pub area at the front of the building and quiet, comfortable room up one flight of stairs. Enjoyed a drink in the bar and was given excellent recommendation for dinner. Outstanding full breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff.

OK but not great in lovely Kenilworth
Pros:

The location in Kenilworth old High Street was excellent. Parking was useful. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was well-cooked.

Cons:

The room smelt stale and was very cold on arrival as the heating hadn’t been turned on (it warmed up next morning). The staff (except the female bar staff) were brusque and not very friendly or welcoming. Breakfast was adequate but felt rushed.
