Pros:

It had a fridge , a bedside lamp , and a plug socket by the bed.

Cons:

I had an omelette and toast for breakfast on the first day. The bread was mouldy, not one or two little spots but a great patch of blue mould that the girl obviously could see but just didn't care !! I didn't have breakfast there after that.
The bathroom was very dirty covered in old soap stains, and it smelt bad.
Shoes need to be removed which is fine, but one day my shoes were missing, and after trying to get the attention of the staff for a while to report this , the girl came out of the kitchen wearing my shoes !!
Avoid this place or expect disappointment

Cons:

Manager booked a taxi to the airport. Driver drove too fast and erratically .... at times dangerous. Then didn't have change for the fare at the airport. An old trick and all very unpleasant.

Good hotel & location, below average service
Pros:

Good location and comfortable bed. The morning market directly outside the hotel offers some interesting morning walks.

Cons:

Laundry service took almost 2 days, and my clothes were returned to me still damp, with one t-shirt stained.
Breakfast was insufficient - often I would go down at 7.30am and there's no staff around to order my breakfast.
Upon arrival, the hotel staff insisted I cancel my Booking.com reservation and pay them there in cash instead. I was happy to pay cash. 2 days later, I was asked to pay more, I assume because the USD/LAK had fell - I declined obviously.
Overpriced tours, taxis and motorbike rental - just walk onto the night market street to get all of these for cheaper.
