Great location. Lovely original features. Friendly staff. Great breakfast.
Although having major refurbishment, didn’t spoil stay. Was upgraded to a suite. Very friendly staff who recognise us as returning guests
Nothing
The staff were lovely and very helpful. The rooms were unique and the location was very tranquil, perfect for a nice break.
Lovely place, room was brilliant.
Obviously the renovation work but that couldn't be avoided and you have to accept it's going to make the hotel even better.
Great hotel,attentive staff,nice room,good breakfast

Staff and location was amazing
The only issue I had was there was building work going on in the hotel which wasn't mentioned when booking. It runs 8am till 6pm on week days. It's not the end of the world but it may bother others
The location. The friendly staff and overall feel of the hotel made it a great place to stay. The shortcut to the village was good to know. In fact a member of staffshowed us the way.
All staff really friendly & helpful especially the ladies on reception. Hotel lovely, clean & warm atmosphere with lots of character. Lovely choice for breakfast with all the little extras, also lovely & presented well. Will definitely be staying again. Thank you!
Only 2 small things - took a while to work out how to unplug the sink, then realised behind the tap (little sign might be helpful for others). Couldn't get the room temperature warm on unit so just turned off because blowing cold.
The room was plenty of space gorgeous bathroom which had a bath and a shower
Nothing not to like
Traditional decor
All good
Beautiful setting. Nice and peaceful and fantastic looking building. With an interesting interior with excellent period features. Food very very good and a nice wine list.
Nothing worth commenting on.
The property exceeded my expectations on every level. From the fantastic staff especially Caroline (evening receptionist) to the absolute cleanliness, there was not one singe aspect of this Hotel that I could call into question. Will definitely be returning to stay here again the next time I visit Lytham
There was nothing of note that I could say I was not impressed with
Beautiful character property in lovely surroundings. Nicely appointed room, clean & comfortable.
The table and chairs sited directly in front of the wardrobe do a bit of room rearrangement needed.
Lovely comfortable room
