Pros:

The location on the river in the pretty street was incredible. The room was comfortable and very clean and we were given ample towels and toiletries. The food in the hotel was very fresh, healthy and well cooked. The staff were lovely.

The bar and restaurant facilities, steak was good

Cons:

The smell in the room from stale carpet, the bathroom door was not properly hinged, the shower was spraying water everywhere I had to put the hand towel over the top of the shower head. It took a long time to get warm water, the main sliding door entrance flip lock was loose

Don't stay here, go anywhere else but here.
Pros:

The room was nice but basic good for 1 night.

Cons:

The restaurant was the worst 😫 5 meals, 2 meals sent back because cold. 1 of meals sent back came back burnt. Garlic bread came out after 4 meals came out. Waited half hour after all meals were finished for the 5 meal to come out. All 5 people ate at all different times, at 1 table. Very quite night, maybe 8 people in whole restaurant, from ordering to last meal eaten, around 2 and half hours. Only reason we got from the 2 Very young but lovely girls who were working was sorry we have a new chef and obviously it's not working out. These 2 young girls working were so nice and very sorry for what was happening . But they had no manager to help them sort the problems.

Only problem with room 12 was no smoke alarms at all, had wires coming ceiling. Thought it was against the law not to have working smoke alarms. Luckily for us there was no fire that night.

Comfy stay at a country pub
Pros:

More than happy with our stay ... comfy beds and quiet location.

Cons:

Shower rose in room 12 needs some attention as it leaks rather badly spraying water up the wall and onto the door.

The only plus to this place was the location

Cons:

Firstly the beds were like bricks, when u rolled over the entire bed moved around on the floor!
no shower curtains or anything so water was in the walkway soaking everything!
An entire large window pane was missing in bathroom, and there were no screens so mozzies came in and we were eaten alive. The fact that it was missing also made us not feel secure, and we still had been charged $140 for a night and the room was like this!
I actually wish we had decided on the motel up the road, was the same price and looked much nicer!

Louvres missing in the toilet/shower the Doff Doff music so loud in the bar when there’s 6 people in the bar you couldn’t talk or hear anyone we had 1 beer and went to the hotel down the Road and had a meal and they had great Northern on tap the Orange had none had run out not worth $140 a night

Might be an ok stay if you are not in the room right next to the laundry.
Pros:

Central location with friendly staff and room had a nice view.

Cons:

The room was right next to the laundry, so a bit noisy at times. Bathroom window appeared broken and there were 1-2 individuals, who may or may not have been working at the property, hanging around right next to door to my room and smoking during the night. They were also walking in and out of the little patio & garden in front of my room (to access their room/front garden I guess?) which was a little uncomfortable.

Amazing meal from the restaurant.
Pros:

Great location, great meal from the restaurant. Basic room was a bit dated but bathroom was modern. Very clean.. Aircon and ceiling fan.

Cons:

The pillows were very soft.
