Great little hotel on the best beach in Santa Catalina.
Pros:

I picked the hotel because the room we could book faced the beach directly. It is a perfectly adequate, reasonably priced hotel on the best beach in Santa Catalina. Comfortable bed. Perfectly adequate restaurant with great seafood.

Cons:

The hotel is a bit dilapidated but we were definitely not expecting Ritz Carlton standards. No complaints whatsoever.

La vue au petit déjeuner

Cons:

Ensemble très vétuste; la douche était pleine de calcaire avec un débit proche du néant. Nous avons eu l'impression de déranger le personnel à chaque fois. Il est noté que les langues parlées par le personnel sont l'espagnol et l’anglais; seul l'espagnol est compris.
Beaucoup trop cher pour cette qualité.

Pros:

Uns hat die Lage mit Blick aufs Meer und direkt am Surferstrand sehr gefallen. Wir konnten grad vom Hotel aus die Treppe runter und waren im Meer, konnten surfen oder den Surfern zuschauen.
Praktisch war, dass man vor Ort Surfbretter mieten konnte.
Das Essen vom Restaurant, v.a. den Fisch fanden wir sehr gut!
Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit, auch als wir früher frühstücken mussten, um pünktlich zu einem.Schnorcheltrip aufzubrechen.
Trotz des kleinen Balkons hatten wir eine Hängematte mit seitlichem Meerblick, das war entspannend.
Klasse fanden wir auch den Pool, zwar etwas kleiner als er für uns auf den Fotos wirkte, aber sehr angenehm mit den Liegen und der kleinen Grotte.

Cons:

Im Zimmer gab es leider weder Safe noch Mini-Kühlschrank. Da wir mehrere Wochen unterwegs sind, wäre das schon noch hilfreich gewesen. Wir waren 3 Nächte da, geputzt wurde zwischendurch nicht, der Mülleimer (nur auf Anfrage) geleert. In einem 4-Bett-Zimmer zu viert, mit einem Bad, wäre das schon noch nötig gewesen.
Das Zimmer ist etwas in dei Jahre gekommen und wirklich nur rudimentär eingerichtet. Wir hatten insgesamt den Eindruck von den Zimmern her: eher Hostal-Style als Hotel.

Wir 53 und 58 waren 3 Tage dort.
Hotel eher ein schlechtes Hostel.
Zimmer sehr schmutzig Barfuß zu laufen nicht möglich. Bett wahrscheinlich nicht frisch bezogen. Roomservice hatten wir in den 3 Tagen nicht auch keine frische Handtücher.
Frühstück sehr einfach gehalten 2.Tasse Kaffee nur gegen Bezahlung. Pool sehr klein und trübes Wasser haben uns nicht rein getraut.
Würde ich nicht nochmal buchen.

Great Location
Pros:

Nice location right on the beach, friendly and helpful staff, breakfast was good.

The receptionist was great at helping us with tours and organising a shuttle at last minute.

I felt the location was better than center of town as it's less busy and quieter
Would stay here again.

Cons:

There was some noise from another venue, music which played in to the early hours, but seemed only on the weekend.

Buon Hotel, la base giusta per partire per Coiba o per chi vuole fare surf
Pros:

Hotel in una buona posizione, sulla spiaggia di Playa El Estero. Le camere sono buone e lo staff è gentile, ci hanno organizzato anche il Tour per Coiba. A circa 1,5 KM dall'imbarco per Coiba e dalla zona centrale, noi ne abbiamo approfittato per delle belle passeggiate serali.

Cons:

Da migliorare la colazione, per il resto tutto ok.

Preis-Leistung hat gestimmt
Pros:

Lage ist ideal, da vom Hotel direkter Zugang zum (dunklen Sand-) Strand und für Surfer perfekt. Als Nicht-Surfer haben wir den hoteleigenen Infinity-Pool genossen mit Blick auf den Strand und Meer.
Zimmer waren sauber und gepflegt, Dusche schien etwas in die Tage gekommen zu sein und könnte eine Renovierung vertragen. Uns hat es aber an nichts gefehlt! Personal war freundlich.

Cons:

Frühstück war bei unserer Buchung inklusive, aber die Auswahl war sehr klein. Wir haben noch extra aus der Speisekarte zubestellt gegen Aufpreis.
