Never again Vienna Residence
Pros:

The apartment's location was convenient and the space itself has potential — the layout is functional and it's easy to see why it looks appealing on paper. The check-in process was straightforward.

Cons:

Nearly everything promised either didn't work or wasn't there: non-functional blackout curtains, a broken stove, a dirty iron that damaged my clothes, towels that wouldn't dry, and a clogged sink. The apartment was undersupplied for the length of stay in terms of number of coffee pads and dishwasher tablets (2x each for a 5-night stay), and the bathroom hadn't been properly cleaned. When I submitted a formal complaint by email, management's response was to "submit a ticket" and then call me to deliver a lecture rather than actually address the issues.

A nice apartment with a good location
Pros:

Top-notch location! Seriously- just one stop from Praterstern Station, and there’s a subway station a 3-minute walk from the apartment.

The neighborhood is great, there were restaurants and supermarkets- Lidl, Hofer, Billa.

It wasn’t small, but the tiny kitchen was a bit of a challenge- the toaster and coffee maker have to sit on top of the stove, so there’s no place to set a plate down and prepare a decent breakfast. You can do that right at the table in the large bedroom/living room.

Cons:

Overall, the value for money. Yes, the location is good, but the apartment itself was expected to be better equipped for this money.

The bathroom was new, but poorly designed. There was no drain outside the shower stall, so there was no way for water to drain- and when the stall was closed during use, water still seeped in! There was a mop, but the cleaning sponge had been removed, which is not okay!

The pillows were a big problem for us- there were two high ones per person, and no option for a low one.

It’s important for tourists to plan where to leave their luggage before and after check-in, because as the landlord described, there’s no storage space. And this can be a big problem considering how quickly the lockers at the train stations fill up and the limited number of private lockers in the city. It would be a good idea if they could provide some in the lobby of the building. :)

Sauberes Appartement in toller Lage mit leider etwas spärlicher Ausstattung

Die Lage des Appartements ist hervorragend, in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Messe und zum Prater, zum Länderspiel im Happel sind wir zu Fuß gelaufen. Auch in die Innenstadt ist es nicht weit, dank der guten Anbindung per U-Bahn. Parken ist im Parkhaus möglich (5 Gehminuten entfernt). Da müssen Gäste die zusätzlichen Kosten bedenken. Das Appartement selbst ist sehr gepflegt, sauber und für zwei Personen für eine Woche absolut groß genug. Es ist sehr ruhig hier.

Cons:

Wenn ich ein Appartement mit eigener Küche buche, dann denke ich mir dabei etwas. Ich möchte selbst kochen. Gefreut haben wir uns über den sehr modernen Herd, auch eine Mikrowelle ist vorhanden. Die Küchenausstattung ist aber leider ein Witz. Wir hatten einen sehr kleinen Topf und eine kleine Pfanne. Auch alles andere wirkt sehr sparsam und abgezählt. Dem könnte doch leicht Abhilfe geschaffen werden. Unsere Wohnung war zudem in der Küche etwas dunkel, das hat aber nicht so gestört.
