Mohican may allow Pet for which guest will need to get preapproval by calling the hotel directly. The guest with pets will be put in certain rooms. Pet allowed policy is strictly based on property management discretion and Mohican can deny or approve the requests based on room availability or circumstances. only one pet may allowed per reservation.
Mohican front office only opens until 7 pm ET, and guest check in beyond 7 pm ET are required to request the hotel directly and ask for permission, which may be allowed based on availability and only with additional fees
Please note that cancelations, refunds, or modifications made within 7 days of the scheduled arrival are not permitted. Guests are expected to adhere to the booking dates selected at the time of reservation. Early departure is allowed; however, please be advised that no refunds will be provided for such cases.
The Mohican indoor pool, hot tub, and fitness center are open year-round.
However, from October 1 through April 15, these facilities are only open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, during front desk hours.
Please note that the outdoor pool is seasonal and closed between September and May.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

The location was handy for the activity planned for the trip
I had to pay a $100 security deposit for the one night stay that was never mentioned until I was checking in. And I was told it was going to take 5 to 7 days to have it credited back to my credit card account. There was no breakfast. The sheer curtains in the bathroom window of our ground floor room did not make my wife comfortable. To get in the room you had to put a numbered passcode in the door handle and I don't know who else had it, not to mention that it took 4 tries to get it to work, because the texted instructions didn't fit the symbols on the key pad. Took quite a while to figure out the AC unit, never figured out what the other thing in the wall by the door was. The TV was difficult for us to work also, since we don't own a smart TV using streaming services. And there were times when it paused and skipped and went blank when we we're trying to watch a show we managed to find. Already decided we won't stay here next year.
It was quiet and friendly. The hot tub was refreshing

The only thing that was an issue is that the indoor pool had way too many chemicals. It turned my granddaughter’s bathing suit from dark pink to purple.

Hot water for shower takes a LONG time to become hot so you waste a lot of water.
The rooms were clean and well kept. The indoor pool/hot tub were a nice surprise and added a lot of value to our trip!
Movement in floor above was loud. Vacuuming above us woke us up on Sunday around 9:00.

Felt Like something from a horror movie and didn't even stay there
I liked how there were 2 pools on the premises however, they close early.
I was hassled upon arrival and asked to upgrade my room due to the size of my party. I thought this was unfair because there were enough beds for my family. I had a party of 5 and the room slept 6. I was told that it was a fire hazard and I would have to pay more. I willingly paid assuming I would get an upgrade since the room was a “fire hazard”. However, I was still placed in the original room that I booked. I feel that they took advantage of the fact that it was around 4:00 on a Saturday and I would have trouble booking at another location so took the opportunity to get more money out of me. Also, the room was dirty. Stains on the sheets. Didn’t smell clean. The pools close early so it doesn’t allow much time to go in them. The indoor pool area/gym rec area smelled musty. There was no pool table as pictured. I wouldn’t recommend this Motel. The owners are shady.
