We had a wonderful stay at Galata Calm Tale Hotel in Istanbul and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
The location is absolutely perfect – within easy walking distance of all the main attractions, while still being peaceful and quiet at night. After busy days exploring Istanbul, it was lovely to return to such a calm and comfortable place.
The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and we enjoyed restful, quiet nights throughout our stay. The hotel is clean, welcoming, and has a warm atmosphere that makes you feel at home.
A special thank you to Yasid and the entire reception team. They were incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional, always ready to assist with a smile and make our stay even more enjoyable.
Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. We would be delighted to stay here again on our next visit to Istanbul! :::
De locatie is goed.
Daar werkt een meid uit Egypte heel aardig en behulpzaam.
De hygiëne was niet zo goed. De kamers ruimte was te krap. Onze kamer was onder de grond dus in de kelder.
Een hele nacht geen stroom gehad.
Останавливались на одну ночь. В целом неплохо за эти деньги, но было очень много нюансов.
Приехали чуть позже 14 часов, номер не был готов. Код от двери никто не прислал заранее, пришлось ждать на улице, просить код в чате. Сказали, что номер будет готов только к 15:30. Заселили в итоге только в 16:00. После прогулки вернулись ближе к 12 часам ночи, снова не смогли попасть в отель, входная дверь закрыта, код не срабатывал, долго стучались, никто не открывал, видимого никого из персонала внутри не было. Провели на улице около часа. Телефон с интернетом у нас сел, пришлось искать где зарядить телефон, снова писать в чат. Пришел парень с ключом, сообщил, что нет электричества, поэтому не работает код. Сказал, что мы должны быть счастливы, что вообще можем попасть в номер. В номере не было горячей воды ко всему прочему, видимо это связано с отсутствием электричества. В общем, за один день слишком много приключений с отелем, чтобы поставить хорошую оценку. Если бы нам заранее прислали код от двери, каким-то образом позаботились о том, чтобы гости в ночи могли попасть внутрь, было бы не так обидно, но в нашем случае мы чувствовали, что всем все равно.
Прекрасное соотношение цена- качество. Чисто. Удобные кровати. Нас было 4ро и для ночевки нам предоставили номер, где было 2 комнатки. Да, небольшие, но вполне комфортные. В номере есть фен, чайник, холодильник.
За данную цену- вполне прекрасно!
Не ждите вид. Из окна что-то жуткое просматривается. Но зато расположение в нескольких минутах от Истикляль и минут 5 до Галатапорта.
Разве что ступеньки с первого этажа на второй. Был бы лифт- и тогда топ!

Зупинялися на одну ніч і залишилися дуже задоволені проживанням. Затишні номери готеля, чудове розташування, поруч із Galata Port, привітний та уважний персонал. Атмосфера готелю сприяє комфортному відпочинку, навіть під час короткого перебування.
Сподіваємося повернутися до вас знову, під час наступного візиту до Стамбула.

Las habitaciones son muy bonitas pero nos tocó estar en el sótano y en las habitaciones hay MUCHA HUMEDAD. De verdad no es exageración, huele fuerte a humedad y la ropa está húmeda. Debería haber algo para eliminarla.
La posizione, la seconda camera era al secondo piano, pulita e ordinata!
Avevamo una stanza al piano interrato, molto umido, non molto pulito, e la porta non si chiudeva

room decor was good, it was clean (except for the air quality), location is very good. Based on other reviews, I would stay here again, but not book the economy room which was in the basement and was very damp and musty smelling.
we got the economy room which turned out to be a basement room. it smelled very damp and musty. there was a window, which opened directly onto the street, so it would be a bad idea to leave it open while away. the air conditoner did a decent job in dehumidifier mode for the bedroom, but the bathrooms didn't dry out, and always smelled. If you must stay here, run the air conditioner in dehumidifier mode at all times. They should either install much better ventilation or stop renting out these basement rooms at all.
