Pros:

The owners were overseas but the caretakers who were in charge were just amazing. Bed and pillows were comfy. Amenities were provided: soap, shampoo, toothpaste, coffee & bottled water. The water refill station outside the room came in handy. Nearby are 7-11, small stores & Payag restaurant which served good food. I didn’t realize I booked the shared toilet but it was spacious and clean plus no other guests to share it with. You can book everything with them from taxi, canyoneering & sardine run tour. The price was worth it.

Cons:

Everything was good. Light sleepers may occasionally hear noises from neighbors but I had earplugs on so it didn’t bother me.

Pros:

The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The place was well kept and very clean. The location was the perfect jumping point to attractions in Badian and the south of Cebu with several options nearby for transportation.

Pros:

We stayed here for a few days and - thanks to the owners - had an absolutely wonderful time. They are incredibly hospitable and friendly, and they help you with everything you need. The rooms, shared bathroom, and common areas are very clean.

The town of Badian is a great local base for doing a canyoneering tour at Kawasan Falls (which can also be very well arranged through the guesthouse), visiting Osmeña Peak (or other viewpoints), exploring more waterfalls, or simply enjoying a scooter ride along the coast or through the countryside.

We won’t forget these days and they will have a special place in our hearts ❤️

Nice, clean rooms and bathrooms, super friendly owners, super cool pool just outside the door.
Pros:

The owners were amazingly kind and welcoming, gave us great tips for our ongoing travels, were always super friendly and lovely. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless, the beds fairly comfortable, AC worked well. I really enjoyed the view from the balcony with the amazing „public pool“ and huge fig tree. The area is not very touristy so you’re a little bit of an attraction here as a foreigner but there’s some local food options around and the Kawasan falls are close by.

Peaceful Oasis Behind the Noise
Pros:

‎I love TGH. It offers clean and quiet accommodation with a touch of nature's goodness, being located right next to a spring and a ginormous Balete tree. Though simple, the house is safe, well-maintained, and a walking distance from the heart of Badian where everything is within reach.

The bedrooms are clean, and spacious. TGH offers free drinking water, and toiletries as well.
I'm very grateful to the owners for their warm welcome, accommodation, and friendly spirit! The place is best whether you're looking for a place to stay while exploring Badian, or a temporary refuge from life's hustle and bustle. Also, they offer delicious breakfast for only 275 PHP, which you can enjoy on the terrace while listening to the birds' morning songs and the gentle lapping of the nearby waters.

‎✅The owners are very responsive to requests and questions, but if you ever find it difficult to locate the place, just:
1. Tell the bus driver to drop you off Badian complex.

2. On the side of the complex, there's a street going to the market. Ask the tricycle drivers (where is TGH, or how to get to the "SIMA", sima is spring in vernacular. 🌊They will surely know where this is.

3. Walk towards the public market "mercado" in vernacular. On the right side, you will find a stall selling roasted chicken/pork. It has a tiny street leading to the "sima" or spring. I'm saying this because the spring is in front of TGH, which is a big orange house. ❗If you find this difficult, you can always ask a local to guide you going to sima/public spring. Everyone knows where it is, and it's just a few meters from the street.

Cons:

The lobby sometimes smells like cigarettes. I don't know why, but everything else is perfect. I highly recommend this place.

While the house can be challenging to find, don't take it negatively. Just remember to ask where is the sima/public spring and you're there. It's actually a bonus that TGH is not right in a street. It's like a beautiful secret behind the noise of the main road.

Also, the neighbors could get a bit loud, but it's not always the case. You can still definitely relax while staying in TGH.

The balcony in the common area is really nice and the staff was friendly. The ac works well.

Cons:

The standard rooms have a shared bathroom even though when you book on booking.com it says the bathroom is private. This is okay for the price but it should be said before booking.

Gentili,disponibili,accoglienti,attenti ad ogni necessità. Acqua potabile sempre disponibile calda e fredda,condizionatore, molto pulito tutto l' ambiente, terrazzino comune molto carino!
Ambiente tranquillo,fuori dal caos di maolballl, vicino al mercato locale,e alla piscina pubblica. Ti permette di vivere la ruralità del villaggio ma con una coccola in piu!
Ray ci ha trovato organizzato e trovato tutte le attività che cercavamo .

Authentic and Lovely Stay in Badian
Pros:

Loved the local an authentic feel of this guesthouse. The room was comfortable, clean and the staff was communicative and welcoming. Booked our Kawasan Falls tour directly and was pleased with the service and pricing. Highly recommend going as early as possible to avoid the congestion. The guesthouse was perfectly positioned in Badian to take advantage of the local food scene, which was excellent and preferable to more touristy areas like Moalboal. Wonderful conversation shared with the owner and his family. Highly recommended for authenticity, value and hospitality.

Cons:

Die Gegend ist nicht besonders schön. Draußen ist häufig Bootslärm der auch in der Nacht nicht ganz weggeht, da die Fischer von der nahegelegenen Insel die ankommen.
