Noting
Staying at Celtic Pride Hotel honestly made my trip to Blackpool feel easy and enjoyable from the moment I arrived. Being tucked just behind Coral Island meant everything was right on my doorstep — Blackpool Tower, the Dungeons, the shops, the bars, the seafront. I loved being able to step outside and instantly be in the middle of the fun.
One thing that really stood out was the breakfast. It was genuinely tasty with plenty of choice, whether you wanted something cooked, something lighter, or a bit of everything. The staff were brilliant too — always happy to help, and quick to amend anything if you needed something different. It felt like they actually cared about making sure you started your day right.
The hotel itself had a warm, welcoming feel. The staff were friendly throughout my stay, the room was clean and comfortable, and even though it’s close to all the action, it still felt like a quiet little base to come back to after exploring.
If you want a stay that’s central, comfortable, and supported by genuinely helpful staff, Celtic Pride Hotel is a place I’d happily return to.
Clean and tidy
The room was clean & very comfortable. Great size for our needs. Very friendly & welcoming host and staff. Breakfast was amazing & such a great variety. It was very quiet in the hotel and aided to a restful weekend.
Thank you for your hospitality 😄

The room was a good size, near to everything so was a short distance walk to coral island, central pier, and eateries. The breakfast was nice and cooked nicely, to however you request it. Good options available - cereal, fruit and yogurt, pastries, full English breakfast, the staff are lovely helpful and available.
The cleanliness is not great, when going for breakfast you get a a whiff of rank egg as the table mats were full of dried food, saw that they were never lifted to clean the table properly and by looking at the amount of dried spilt food on them, they have not been washed, so that was putting me off breakfast as I would be getting that constant whiff. Also my daughter had a dirty spoon when we sat down at the table for breakfast. The hotel should keep clear tables if they are not going to lift the mats and decor to clean the table or are not going to wash them.
For the room, the room is a decent size, the double bed however had a fitted sheet on that actually was not fitting the bed, so when you slept on it came undone, the mattress was uncomfortable, everyone you moved it would creak as if you were walking on floorboards. Because the fitted sheet came undone, I went back to put it on, but it just wouldn’t as it was not the correct sizing, it revealed that the mattress was covered with multiple mattress covers and I ended up seeing dead bugs in the 2nd mattress cover down. Also the fan was so dusty, they have never bothered to open it up and wipe the dust off it. It was awful seemed like there was 20years of dust on it the holes were nearly blocked. Requested for another fan for the room as the the bunk beds were in a separate side so would not feel the air, and that was dusty as well never cleaned up, tried it in the socket but it didn’t work. Also the plug sockets are loose of the walls.
The wardrobe wasn’t real useable as it was full of sand and dirt and I could see tiny bugs crawling on it. So that has never been cleaned out; there was buckets and spades left inside but hotel people have never removed them and cleaned them out nor the wardrobe, it’s fine if they are leaving the buckets and spades in the cupboard for other families to use but it should be cleaned out, nobody wants to place their clothes in a damp stinky wardrobe full of sand….

Great hospitality. Great location. Good breakfast. An enjoyable stay.
Reminded me of the old traditional B&B , full room at breakfast with Michelle and Graham showing potential B&B owners how to host.
Having to leave.
Michelle (owner) and staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was a quality one with a good fresh selection of goodies. I stayed for four nights and will definitely stay again. I highly recommend a stay at The Celtic 👍 10/10
