Guest House in Sanahin

Ich war mit dem Motorrad da und konnte es direckt vor dem Haus parken. Auch das Nachtessen war sehr gut und reichlich. Die Gastgeberin war sehr bemüht mir einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu bereiten.

Superbe accueil dans cette petite maison rurale, comme l’impression d’arriver chez une tante qui fait tout ce qu’elle peut pour vous faire sentir bien. C’est simple mais soigné, toujours avec le sourire et beaucoup de bienveillance. La chambre était confortable, dîner et petit déjeuner étaient fraîchement préparés, savoureux et complets. Tout était bien entretenu et propre. Il est possible d’utiliser la cuisine, ce qui est très pratique ! Le monastère est à deux pas et le bus pas très loin, parfait pour séjourner avec une belle vue sur la montagne, au calme .

Fantastic stay!! Alla and her mom Marina host a cute and cozy guesthouse 2 minutes away from the Sanahin monastery. Rooms have all the modern-day conveniences with multiple outlets, WiFi, and in-room AC. Beds were very comfortable, and the room, house, and bathroom were all very clean. Lots of hot water, and they provide shampoo, shower gel, and hand soap.

Food is offered for around 3000AMD per meal and is highly worth it and delicious! To be honest, there doesn’t seem like there was anything to eat in the vicinity anyways (except for mini marts either yogurts and snacks), so I would bank on eating in the home.

All in all, would highly recommend and would return in a heartbeat!

Very nice and cosy guesthouse located just a few steps away from Sanahin monastery. Hosts are lovely and welcoming, dinner and breakfast were great. This place is excellent value for money and I could not have hoped for a better place to rest after a long day of hiking. They were even kind enough to feed the cute dog that had been following me alltrough my hike 🦴

The hosts here are so sweet and their food was delicious. The guesthouse is in the perfect location and has stunning views of the mountains/canyons. They really make you feel like a part of their family.

Great location right near to Sanahin Monastery. Bed was comfy, with good soundproofing of the room. The host was so lovely and helpful, and breakfast in the morning was great.

Everything was great: breakfast, bed, etc. People - hospitality, readiness to help, to advise. Fluently speaking languages, e.g. Russian, clarifying whatever details about translations.. We had very good time with them!

The sweetest owners ever, welcomed like a family member even before check in time. Great home cooked meals and tips for the area. Everything perfect!

This is such a deeply warm and welcoming place. They took such good care of me as a solo traveller. I ate well at both dinner at breakfast and slept the most deeply I had since arriving to Armenia. Honestly the best and kindest hosts!

Also you're right near Sanahin monastery so I got to walk around the town at dusk and climb to some amazing views.

Amazing stay! We instantly felt like we’re part of the family. Really enjoyed the pottery workshop, and we got treated by super tasty food as well. Super peaceful location, really close to the monastery, and the most helpful, greatest hosts.

The guesthouse (also called pottery house) has 2 rooms for rent with common lounge, kitchen and bathroom. Our room contained a comfortable double bed, side tables, 2 sitting chairs, cot and hat rack. It was nicely decorated with Armenia pieces and the bath towels were beautiful Armenian cotton. As we were only guests we had bathroom for ourselves and other shared areas. Marina showed us where to find plates, cups etc in kitchen along with kettle for hot water. Washing was done and returned dry and folded for 2000AMD. We had 2 very good breakfast and a dinner which was kindly organised at short notice. WiFi worked well. We did a wonderful return day hike through to Haghpat Monastery and would have happily stayed longer to enjoy the hospitality and explore further.
