I just love such places!!!
Pros:

Susane is so warm person and the house charming as well. Even I was late to arrive I was welcomed with kind attention. It was a great pleasure to hear a story of the cats and the house. I was treated with breakfast that made me feel special after 35 km hike that day. It was on my way to Santiago and I decided to make my last night stop special. It is realy Oasis - all the city noise was left behind the gates…

Pros:

The room was fantastic. The owner was also exceptionally helpful.

Cons:

The door to get into the main gate was sometimes a challenge. And I didn't know how to find the building the first day much less know that I needed to pull the handle to the left to move the entire metal door.

Lovely homestay in nature
Pros:

Lovely quirky home stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of lovely cats and dogs around. Probably the quietest accommodation you'll find in Santiago. Would stay here again.

Cons:

There wasn't anything I didn't like just offering a few suggestions. Maybe send details of how to find the place as it's a little tucked out of the way. Easy enough to locate if you use Google satellite but judging by some of the comments, commen sense isn't used 😂 also a fan would have been nice as we were a little warm at night.

Totalmente estupendo
Pros:

¡Una experiencia buenísima! El verdadero oasis con el bosque y la ruta maravilla por el río al centro. También tiene la parada de autobús (1€) que tu pone al centro en quince minutos. El interior es muy bonito, con la sala de estar, el comedor y los cuartos muy cómodos. Un pequeño desayuno como un regalo también nos servía bien. Gracias, Susanna.

Un oasis (de verdad) en medio de todo.
Pros:

La ubicación tranquila a un paso del centro en bus, el remanso de paz nada más cruzar la puerta, los perros y los gatitos andando a sus anchas por todo el amplio terreno alrededor de la casa y la amabilidad de Shusannah, a la cuál estamos muy agradecidos por su amabilidad y su comprensión.

Cons:

No sé si fue porque fuimos en unos días de mucho calor, pero en el piso superior se agradecería algo de climatización, ya que se nota mucho calor en la habitación hasta caer la noche.

Out of the way escape
Pros:

Owner was lovely. Very helpful on buses and getting into town
Very secluded location if you like to be out of the hustle and bustle of the city

Cons:

Location was quite isolated, signage on the approach was a bit confusing. I followed a sign that said to go straight on, but on the other side of the road the sign showed to go down a set of stairs. As there were fences and barriers it's not possible to cross the road to take the quicker way.
"Free" breakfast consisted of tea/coffee/juice and a piece of cake. On the second day there was no juice (I don't drink tea or coffee) and only bread for toast. No butter or jam/marmalade to seen. Not really worth bothering about.
At night the rooms/other guests were extremely noisy. Walls/floor are very thin, and you could hear every movement from other guests

We felt right at home and didn't want to leave
Pros:

This beautiful place is located just outside the city, making it perfect if you want to end your Camino de Santiago on a high note. The owner gave us a warm welcome, and we were given an Art Deco-style room where we felt very comfortable. The house and garden exude a wonderful sense of peace; we slept wonderfully with the windows open. We would have loved to stay longer and would love to come back.

Eine etwas urige Unterkunft, mit sehr netter Wirtin und sehr gutem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis
Pros:

Außergewöhnliche Unterkunft mit Überraschungseffekt. Anfahrt ein bißchen schwierig, man kommt nach verschlungenen Wegchen an ein pinkfarbenes Tor und dahinter findet man einen großen verwunschenen Garten mit einem alten Haus und das zwischen zwei Autobahnen und neben der Eisenbahn. Dafür war es aber anscheinend sehr gut isoliert, wir haben bei offenem Fenster wunderbar geschlafen.
Die Besitzerin war sehr freundlich und spendierte uns Kaffee fürs Frühstück, obwohl das nicht gebucht war.
Alles war sauber und liebevoll hergerichtet
30 Minuten Weg zur Innenstadt, Bus hält aber auch an der Straße.
