Pros:

Best location ever. Minutes away from the vibrant Taksim Square and Galata Tower. Surrounded by amazing bars and restaurants. Amazing nightlife!!
Rooms were huge. Breakfast was great! Reception staff...esp Ilyas was amazing. Ilyas really helped with local suggestions and even helped book a traditional shave and haircut for my son at very reasonable prices. Gem of a guy!!

Cons:

We were on the top floor with a room facing the street. Saturday night was loud with music till late, but they provide ear plugs. Part of the charm of staying close to the action!!

When we arrived at the hotel. We were told that they don’t have a room for us but we can stay in the hotel opposite, So we agreed and went across. But I was made to pay the full cost of the booking right then.

Then the next morning the new hotel said we need to check out and leave our bags in the lobby as they needed that room.

We are travelling with our 1 year old son so this was very difficult for us.

So we left our bags and when out to try and enjoy the day.

On returning we had to move to another room as the Asen hotel booking still said they don’t have a room.

The next morning we had to check out but couldn’t check into the Ansen wasn’t ready but will be ready later.

After a day out we arrived back to the hotel to be informed the room is ready. We checked in and stayed the rest of the trip in Ansen.

I will just add that through out this I expressed my dissatisfaction and it was always met with false promises and lies. We was informed that we would get a refund, but for the excuse as to why they couldn’t give straight away made no sense. And still to this day we never got a refund.

We had a great time visiting Istanbul but this hotel ruined our ability to relax knowing we had a place to stay

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Die Lage ist hervorragend – sehr zentral gelegen, sodass man die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten von Istanbul bequem zu Fuß oder mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichen kann.

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das außergewöhnlich freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal. Jeder Mitarbeiter war stets zuvorkommend, aufmerksam und bemüht, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten.

Auch die Zimmer haben uns überzeugt: Sie sind modern und komfortabel ausgestattet, sehr gepflegt und ausgesprochen sauber. Die tägliche Reinigung erfolgte gründlich und zuverlässig.

Insgesamt hat das Hotel unsere Erwartungen in jeder Hinsicht übertroffen. Wer eine zentrale Unterkunft mit exzellentem Service, hoher Sauberkeit und komfortabler Ausstattung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Wow-Effekt durch Ausblick von der Suite und prima Startpunkt zum Erkunden Istanbuls.
Pros:

Blick aus Penthouse wunderschön! Lage im lebhaften Viertel wenige Gehminuten vom Galata Tower und z.B. von der Shishane Metro entfernt.
Kleiner Supermarkt direkt gegenüber. Schöne Buchhandlung in der Straße. Viele Cafés und Bars in unmittelbarer Umgebung.
Hotel-Team sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Cons:

Uns hat alles gut gefallen..wer es abends sehr ruhig haben will, sollte sich was anderes suchen ;)
Es gibt einen kleinen Balkon, der allerdings wahrscheinlich aus Sicherheitsgründen nicht betretbar war.
Anmerkung zum Frühstück: Man darf kein Continentales Frühstück mit Buffet erwarten; es werden kleinere türkische Snacks mit Brot und Ei serviert.

Nice Hotel but with room to grow
Pros:

The employee at the check-in was very nice and helpful. The room was bigger as expected and we felt comfortable being there. It's a short walking distance from Galata Tower and Taksim Square. In the same street are many Cafe's and Restaurants

Cons:

The breakfast was nothing very special and for two adults and a child are but too small. But we could reorder. In the shower there are many black stains, probably mold and the kitchen is not equipped at all, we just stayed for one night so we didn't mind, but for a longer stay it would be helpful.

Premier séjour en octobre très bien

Cons:

Réservation annulée sans explications qui tient la route.
Soit ! Mais même pas pris le temps de nous avertir. On débarque à 20h fatigué d'un long voyage et puis au moment du checking on nous dit il n'y a pas plus de chambre et on nous envoie balader dans les hôtels à côté qui n'ont rien à voir en terme de standings.
Peut-être juste de la malchance mais je suis bien échaudé malgré un premier séjour au mois d'octobre qui été top à part les bruits de la rue

Good location. Room is fine with bigger m2 area.
Pros:

We 2+1 (kid 4y) stayed at Executive Suite, kid on the sofa, Feb20, for 2 nights, between flights. Rooms is at last, floor 5th i guess. At this floor is only two rooms, left and right, so no noise. Elevator goes until 4th floor, so last steps must be finished by legs which is romantic in some way.
-Recycling paper bins outside rooms, lovely since locals do not recycle at all, so point is counted here.
-Room include with small kitchen and a water tap with a sink.
-Generally this spot is in the old town, from here taxi, bus, metro, and ferry is hand reachable.
- Big bonus to this place is 50m from metro line.
- Big bonus this place is 150m from main taxi lot. Good spot to deal in advance taxi drive to Istanbul airport for 30eur, but it is not easy task :) . Since taxi driver was other old guy witch drove us to airport, in the end wanted charge more, but turn the smiley and walk away for your self destiny. The tourist life.

Cons:

-The view from round windows, not even expect see panorama view, just opposite house, those windows purpose is different. Sky window in the ceilings was leaking water :), but no drama here. Want the view, select penthouse room only and order blue sky in advance.
-Breakfast was included, but not expect much. Stuff brings a plate of: boiled egg, a toast, butter, some jam and a cookie with a cup of tee. So you try and judge if want it. Next morning just skipped the breakfast and went outside.
-Room small kitchen has no knife fork or other any cutlery. Since we came with kid, for me slice an apple with no knife is a skilled karate task. Be aware of your needs.

Pros:

Las habitaciones son muy grandes y cómodas, el personal muy agradable, a escasos metros de una parada de metro y autobus. Está todo muy céntrico

Cons:

La habitación que da a la calle principal son ruidosas nos cambiaron a una interior que si son silenciosas y tiene unas vistas muy bonitas a Santa Sofia, Mezquita Azul, Sultanahmet.

Pros:

Habitaciones muy amplias y cómodas, cerca de muchos restaurantes, metro y principales atracciones, lo que hace que sea muy conveniente para hospedarse.

Cons:

Detalles menores para mejorar, diría únicamente el desayuno, pero aún así el que sirven está bien, pero podría haber más variedad .
