Comfortable stay with very friendly staff
Pros:

The highlight of the stay was the staff. They were all very accommodating, caring and they went over the top with our requests. We requested for a cake to be bought and brought to the room as a surprise for my father. They did so and even came over to sing him happy birthday when he first came in the room. They were the busiest in planning the surprise than we were! Very grateful for their hospitality and efforts! We also did massage in the hotel and it was really good and impressive! The hotel itself seems very fancy and nice for its price

Cons:

Our booking included a breakfast. However, on the first morning, they did not have food to serve. Hence, my parents only had some toasts. But on the 2nd morning, they had a full on breakfast buffet. I feel like we didn't get our money's worth because we missed getting the breakfast on the first morning. It was also not towards the end of the breakfast service so it was kind of strange

Pros:

Great location in the old quarter. The rooms were nice and clean. However, one of the rooms had a bad smell at the end of the day when we returned 2 days in a row and we had to request a change of room.

Cons:

The inconvenience of returning to the smell in the room. The hotel must look into fixing this. Breakfast was basic.

Good location

Cons:

The room was 6 floors up over the street, with a balcony and it was loud with street noise until about 3am. Now, I have travelled a lot, but the horn beeping every 12 seconds is too much.

The aircon blows somewhat cool air, but the room was 30 degrees all night. 3 nights was enough and I left before the 4th. No refund was offered because they don't give a sh&t.

There are other amazing places to stay in the old quarter, but not here.

Excellent location, helpful staff, good breakfast buffet.
Pros:

Very polite and helpful staff. Located very near tourist attractions. Good room size. Very nice closet space. Breakfast buffet was elaborate and very tasty. We weren’t charged extra for the minibar. On our last day, they provided us a complimentary cab for our ride to the airport.

Pros:

The breakfast experience was extremely disappointing. The space itself is very small, accommodating only a few tables, which makes it uncomfortable. Unfortunately, hygiene standards were poor, and the overall quality of the food was very low. The condition of the materials and utensils also appeared unclean. This raised serious concerns, to the point where we felt unsafe to eat and avoided trying the food due to the risk of food poisoning.

Cons:

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. I would not recommend it and will not trust or use Booking.com for future reservations based on this incident.
The hotel should not be classified as a 3- or 4-star property; in my opinion, it falls well below even a 1-star standard.
Upon arrival, the initial room assigned to us had a non-functioning air conditioning system, despite the outside temperature exceeding 45°C. Additionally, the bed sheets were visibly dirty. After raising this concern, we were moved to another room, which was in even worse condition. There were cockroaches coming from the bathroom and ants all over the table and room area, even though we were staying on the eighth floor.
The situation was further worsened by strong food odours coming from the floor below (likely due to its proximity to the kitchen), and most concerningly, there appeared to be a gas leakage, which raised serious safety concerns.
Due to these unacceptable conditions and for our own safety, we were forced to leave the hotel and arrange accommodation elsewhere at a higher cost than originally planned.
I believe both the hotel management and Booking.com should take responsibility for this experience and refund the amount paid, as the situation significantly disrupted our trip and prevented us from enjoying our stay.
I will also be sharing this experience with my friends and relatives, as I strongly advise others to reconsider before booking this property or use BOOKING.com.
