Pretty but inconvenient.
Pros:

The pool and view was gorgeous.

Cons:

The hotel was very very hard to find. It is inside a gated community up a steep hill. You then turn behind a concrete wall down a narrow dirt path with limited parking. There is no staff and our key was left in the door. The room had poop on the toilet from a previous guest and when I contacted the hotel via WhatsApp they blamed the “wild life”. Aside from potty trained wild life the hotel lost power during a rain storm when the restaurants and hotels around them still had power. It was not fun running from the parking lot to our room in pitch darkness to find the power was out. The water in the shower did not get very warm and the shower head was extremely high so that made it even colder. We made the mistake of booking this with a toddler and the beds and rooms were just not toddler friendly. It’s a pretty “instagram” stay but not very central and not very well considered. I wish I knew there were no staff to speak to, no facilities, poor parking and the sorts. Again a very nice to look at stay but very inconvenient. We were in CR for 14 days and only stayed 2 nights. We preferred the other hotels, lodges and resorts elsewhere in CR.

schöne Villa mit Pool und Blick aufs Meer
Pros:

Schöne Villa, wir hatten Villa 1 mit Terrasse ins Grüne, Pool und zwei Doppelbetten (wobei das eine Doppelbett schmaler und etwas ungeschickt in der Nische steht). Schöner Blick aufs Meer und die Natur.
Wer Aras sehen will sollte an den nur wenige km entfernten Playa Tarcoles und für Kolibris und Blick aufs Meer zum Restaurant Tiko

Cons:

Leider hört man den Strassenlärm der 34 etwas (Trucks und Motorräder). Der Küche fehlt ein Wasserkocher und Toaster wäre auch nett.

Séjour exceptionnel ,vue splendide
Pros:

Suite splendide, tout confort avec sa piscine privée, vue incroyable, nous avons passé un moment exceptionnel de détente après l’hospitalisation de mon mari à San José , personnel très accueillant et responsable adorable qui nous a accueilli à 11h malgré normalement à 14h 15h . Belles plages aux alentours. Nous avons même voulu rester une nuit supplémentaire mais malheureusement complet . N’hésitez surtout pas pour réserver un séjour à AKUA 🤩👍

The best place we stayed on our trip
Pros:

Everything about our stay here was incredible. Spacious, clean, very comfy bed. Exquisite ocean view from bed and shower, and even though you had neighbours we felt it was still very private. Location was great for Carara national park and for the River Tarcoles. Very clean, staff set up our towels into swans. Lots of birds viewed from the property including trogons and raptors.

Incroyable
Pros:

L’emplacement était parfait, très bien situé et pratique pour tout visiter. Le logement était confortable et nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Tout était vraiment super, je recommande sans hésiter !

Beautiful property with great outdoor space
Pros:

Beautiful decor with luxury feel. Amazing view & outdoor space with plunge pool. Felt very private and was quiet. Flexible on checkout times on request, very responsive communication. Had regular lizard & bird visitors.
