Very nice building and rooms are beautiful

A truly memorable stay — luxurious surroundings, exceptional food and wonderfully welcoming service
Pros:

My wife and I stayed at Hotel du Vin last night and had an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish.

We stayed in the Thierry Lombard Suite, which was simply outstanding. The suite is huge and beautifully appointed, with an enormous, incredibly comfortable bed, two roll-top baths, two large walk-in showers and a separate living area. There are large-screen TVs in both the bedroom and living area, and you can even relax in the roll-top baths while watching TV — a brilliant touch.

Everything you could want was provided, including coffee-making facilities, dressing gowns, slippers and excellent air conditioning. The whole suite felt luxurious, spacious and very well thought out.

The food was every bit as impressive. Dinner was outstanding, with an extensive menu and everything we ordered cooked to perfection. Breakfast the following morning was equally excellent.

What really completed the stay, though, was the staff. Every member of the team we encountered was friendly, professional, courteous and exceptionally welcoming. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and the level of service throughout our stay was first class.

A genuinely outstanding hotel experience. Fantastic accommodation, excellent food and superb service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have absolutely no hesitation in returning.

Highly recommended.

Cons:

Nothing

Excellent choice for a short stay, quirky, clean and the staff were very attentive
Pros:

We loved the room, the staff were very attentive, good location although a little further to walk into town than we were advised through reception.

Cons:

The additional charges for the little sausage dog were applied afterwards, although I noted this on the booking

Great hotel with amazing staff.
Pros:

The property was lovely. Well designed in a beautiful building.

Cons:

Nothing really. The location is slightly out of the way but it’s very handy for the bars and restaurants around the quayside.
