Staff all super friendly and helpful.
Price, I think rooms are overpriced.
Beautiful settings and surroundings
The rooms need updating
Location, garden, in the village nice building
Bar , no atmosphere, unappealing
Coffee at breakfast cold and poor quality
Pillows hard and lumpy
Overall a bit dated
The breakfast was good and staff very pleasant. Nice bright clean restaurant.
The bed was comfortable and the towels were very soft. The room was nice and warm with the radiator and towel rail working.
Good shower with plenty of hot water.
Hotel in a good location
Our ‘themed’ room was very disappointing, with overpowering decor and dirty patches on the carpet. In the bathroom, the large window would not close properly and the frame was full of dirt. The back of the bathroom door was dirty and needed a good clean.
Very good and good selection
No hand rail or bath mat in shower which made it very slippy getting into shower over bath
Location. Hotel a bit ‘tired’ Inside needs smartening up.
No staff at the bar when we needed a drink. First bedroom offered was very poor very small and no hooks or drawers. Requested a room change after one night and then moved to a very nice room.
Beautiful spacious room and bathroom. Convenient parking. Excellent breakfast (and if you want it dinner). Great location for Hidcote and other nearby Cotswold attractions.
There was a little garden area outside our room which would be nice in warmer weather except it was a little neglected looking.
Petit dej copieux.
Good location, OK facilities
much less friendly / hospitable than any of the other properties we stayed at in the Cotswold. Staff seemed to just be there to pick up a paycheck, not interested in customers or service.
The location for access to the other Cotswold villages was great. Parking on and off site is good. We were given a ground floor room so access was good. We didn’t have dinner at the hotel but breakfast was well presented with cooked and buffet on offer.
Our room had plenty of electric sockets and mirrors.
Our stay was really good but if I had to pick a few niggles I would say our standard double room was a little small and the bed was a regular double. Our ground floor room had a lovely view across the gardens but with no net curtains we spend some time changing with the curtains shut.
The carpet was stained in places as was the bathroom floor around the toilet.
It was ok
Easy to park, nice little village. Breakfast was good, service staff were very good. Pleasant pub attached and two more in the village.
Our ground floor room's window was overlooked by the front lawn and there were no net curtains, so it didn’t feel very private. Not a big problem in March, but in summer, with people drinking there, wouldn't have been very pleasant. Room was quite small too.
Bonito y acogedor. Muy tranquilo.
Location was great. The room was compact but comfortable. Lift was handy. The staff were all polite and helpful. Breakfast was great, good quality and plenty of choice.
The only thing I didn't like was that the sink in our room was badly cracked. It could do with being replaced.
I booked a luxury room, it was very clean. But it was also very tied and in need of some repairs. When we ordered dinner in the restaurant, there had ran out of first, second choice, however I had the sea bass and it was ok. I was very disappointed with the luxury room quality. Also the door key was very difficult to open.
The location was quiet good with access to good areas.
