Whilst the staff were pleasant and trying to be helpful, they were clearly under staffed.
The hotel furnishings were cheap, the bedroom smelt, and the breakfast was expensive and sparce. Disappointing
Lovely hotel, very clean and the staff were very friendly, the breakfast lady, Mary went above and beyond for us.

Lovely stay. We booked a classic double which exceeded our expectations. Great location with easy parking. Very good service.
Nothing.
The room was large and we had a balcony, though due to the heat (two of the warmest days ever in May) we didn't use it. The room was very comfortable and had plenty of space. The hotel had a courtyard next to the bar and restaurant and that was perfect for sitting out in the evening, or in the afternoon, when the heat was too much for wandering around Stratford. We had breakfast on the last day and the porridge was delicious and made just the way I like it. The staff were very friendly and helpful, going out of their way to be so.
The hotel isn't right in the centre of Stratford so it was ideal for getting away from the crowds there for Motorfest, for example.
If I were nitpicking, not being able to stop water from the shower from making a pool of water on the bathroom floor was a pity. But it was only a small pool.
Great location, lovely staff, comfy bed, nice food.
It all feels a bit in need of love. Hotels du Vin always used to feel like a treat but this time it just felt shabby, in need of a refresh and a deep clean. We were upgraded to a suite which was lovely but the carpet up to it was manky and the suite itself was gloomy with very worn furniture and chipped woodwork.
Superb location. . Well trained staff . Very good value for w

Hotel du Vin exceeded my expectations. The hotel was centrally placed for all visitor attractions, restaurants & shops.
The hotel rooms were spacious, comfortable & equipped with the usual extras-hairdryer, iron etc with Occitan products in the bathroom.
Their bistro restaurant was pleasant with a varied menu & good wine choices. This was where breakfast was served each morning & there was a wide choice of breakfasts on offer.
The only thing I could fault was the lack of a firm pillow on my bed but it didn’t spoil my stay
Amazing hotel to stay in when visiting Stratford.
Large, comfy room. Amazing central location.
Great facilities and great staff.
Shower was a little temperamental (but find this common in most hotels).
Private parking at the hotel was a little expensive.
