So cozy and warm. 100% better than any Alton Towers Hotel room. Super comfortable and clean.

Nothing it was great absolutely lovely the staff were so nice ! Being picky about the cleaning in the room there were a few cobwebs at high level especially in the bathroom however the important things were clean such as bathroom fixings and bedsheets, the bed was super comfy and we slept like logs

Nunca he escrito reseñas , siento que aquí tengo que hacerlo. La atención, la habitación, la cama ( brutal , "mil" almohadas a elegir) . . El lugar el silencio y el pub que tienen alado que es todo uno.. es perfecto, comida hecha en casa, y mucha actividad joven , cerveza..el sitio es precioso. Fuimos por el parque de atracciones alton towers, pero volvería solo para pasear entre pueblos y alojarme aquí.
No poder haberme quedado una noche mas. Nada malo que decir. No lo hubiera pensado jamás

The staff was great and conversational, the location is perfect and picturesque. The room was cozy with immaculate vibes and the modern touches that really help make the stay.
While the near by pub is equally great. During some times of the week there are limited food options near by.

Notting they told me a problem with the lift on the way there 22august after I got guaranteed 2 times on the phone in the previous 2 and half months , they could accommodate me with mobility problems, was left totally stranded with 2 teenagers as I had 2 double rooms , it was my daughter 18 birthday and we had to stay in different hotels, was totally devastated as I did not c my daughter on her birthday as our hotels were so far apart , I cried in my hotel all day was the worse experience of my life, I paid them 971 .56 on 13 August they did put up my daughter but after all the upset and inconvenience especially not seeing my daughter on her 18th who’ve can never b undone, they would have the decency to refund my money.
Fabulous setting and grounds with a beautiful river nearby. Well kept and tidy Room was very nicely decorated including the bathroom. Really comfy mattress. Plenty of tea/coffee and biscuits provided. Staff were lovely and most helpful. The pub nearby was also great.
Just a personal preference for an option for one thinner/flatter pillow as those provided were lovely and deep but a little too bulky for my neck.
Lovely rooms and decor. We stayed in the family room and it was perfect for two children. The food in the restaurant was great as well
You have to walk through the restaurant with your luggage to get to the stairs which is not ideal but given it’s a very old building there isn’t much they can do about it.
