Great location, friendly, breakfast delicious.
Pros:

Brilliant room - design was very different and loved it. Breakfast options really good. Lovely old building.

Cons:

Only slight negative was traffic noise, but having windows open it was expected. Could do with some kind of covering on the windows as needed curtains closed when getting dressed.

Pros:

GREAT STAY; WILL RETURN
Greeted warmly & escorted to my room
Felt safe as a solo female
Great night sleep in my very comfortable room
Greeted warmly again at breakfast & served an excellent breakfast (Thanks to the chef!)
The housekeeper even returned a toiletry item I had a accidentally left behind
Lovely decor all around too plus on-site parking
I had trialed staying over night before meetings in the area the day after but will definetly do this again

Cosy, friendly, exceptional food
Pros:

A lovely pub punching above expectations. Friendly clean and welcoming and the food is exceptional, I wished is was there to try more meals on the menu.

Cons:

Only a matter of preference that the mattress was a little too hard for my liking, but that's my preference and shouldn't deter from an exceptional place

All the staff are very friendly amd helpful. Breakfast was very nicely laid out with lots of variety on offer. My partner had a full English - he thoroughly enjoyed it.

A good stay, nice staff, great value for money with an exceptional breakfast choice.
Pros:

The room was good with the en-suite shower room, tv, plus tea, chocolate drink and coffee with fresh milk.The bicycle storage is handy. The lagers on offer are good and there is a great choice for breakfast with accommodating staff. The hare and hounds is very handy for the Leeds to Liverpool canal also Burwain lake and Colne.

My evening meal could have been better but the pub was very busy and I came down late for my meal.
