Old world charm but...
... a bit rundown.
Lovely location. Amazing views. Train stops outside the hotel for easy travel and I didnt hear it. Solo traveller. Well stocked tea & coffee facilities.
Good view from my room.
Good location for catching a ferry from Malaig
Good to have on site carpark
Very expensive for what we got.
The room wasn't very big.
The en suite was tiny, blocked basin waste,
Food was expensive.
Owners didn't take cash for rooms, food or drink.
I did NC500 over 8 days and this was the most expensive hotel we used with very average to poor value for money compared to others we stayed at but not alot of choice when catching early morning ferries to Isle of skye,
Friendly staff. Llovely weather so the view was amazing. Convenient for Isle of Skye ferry from Mallaig. Steam train passes 4 times a day 🙂 The restaurant was nice.

Super close to the train station, and a perfect walking distance to the silver beaches.
My room got too warm. But again, I was there in the summer
Top location! Very quit and million dollar scenery
Lage war gut
The view is stunning; perched up on a hillside with amazing views. The place has a lot of potential!
Sadly the potential is not met with adequate interiors. There were a lot of maintenance issues (malfunctioning light bulbs), the room was very basically decorated, and the mattress was extremely low quality.
