Bella Vida Resort, Uluwatu

- Breakfast we were served uncooked eggs. They have beautiful pictures of food online but after trying several things we feel scammed.
- I always like to go for breakfast included and over the period of 1 month of traveling, this is the first time i felt forced to go elsewhere for breakfast
-Majority of staff is unable to speak English so it is hard to ask for help
- rarely clean the outside terrace properly or replace the water. Had to ask several times to have new water in the extreme heat
- Horrible wifi
- Made some time related appointments with them and they failed to live up to their promises, resulting in my girlfriend having to wait 1 hour before i could pick her up.

The food and the staff had walkie talkies on so loud that you could hear it all day. Makes it hard to relax by the pool.

We missed fruits for breakfast, but it was possible to ask staff for fruit plate for 2€ and we got it couple times even for free. So they fixed it

Alle beviel ons, alleen miste we wel een wasrekje op balkon waar je je handdoeken op kon hangen. 1 kamer had ook geen kast om kleding in op te bergen.

A localização não é a melhor. É central em Uluwatu mas a deslocação a qq lado é no minimo 20-30min.

The location wasn’t great. The place isn’t really a resort; it’s more like a collection of villas.

The hotel is nice, but the road to get there is terrible. Depending on which side you come from, there’s a gate that simply closes without any notice. One night around 10 PM, I was returning and it was closed, and they don’t communicate this at all. I had to take a huge detour of more than 15 minutes just to access the hotel
I also had an issue with a bat on my balcony every single night. It was constantly making noise.
I asked them to handle the situation, and they offered me another room, but it was on a lower floor and I didn’t want to move. Their “solution” was to keep the balcony light on all night, which meant I basically couldn’t sleep properly. And it didn’t even solve the problem the bat kept coming anyway

There is no direct communication with the hotel. You have to message the personal WhatsApp numbers of the reception staff, which is honestly unacceptable
I shouldn’t have to contact staff on their personal phones.

They never solved the bat issue. I couldn’t use the balcony at all because the bat kept coming and leaving a mess everywhere, and nothing was done about it.

The staff are generally nice, but some of the night staff I dealt with didn’t speak English, which made things harder especially when you’re trying to solve a problem.

Overall, the place is okay, but nothing special.
The cleaning could definitely be improved. There were days I had to ask them to change my face towel because even though they cleaned the room, they didn’t replace it even when it was left on the floor.
