The hotel was clean. You could smell that it was an old property which we liked and it had an old working lift (loved the lift). The room were very clean. We booked a twin room but didnt realise you couldnt put the beds together so they upgraded us into a double bed room. Shower was powerful but lacking in heat. That was the only downside. Plenty of milk tea bags, coffee and bottles of water on both days we stayed which we thought was a very nice gesture. Hotel road is right opposite the Wellington pier. Car parking opposite the hotel on the road. Not far to walk for the arcades or Regent Road that goes into the town. The manager was very helpful. You could see the hotel was a working progress ie being decorated but that didn't affect us.
We would definitely stay there again

Delightfull stay and quiet sleep

Stay here all the time.
Pros:

We love staying here. Beachfront location. Very cheap prices. Comfortable room, some are bigger than others. The only fault I have is not being able to have a fan.
