Well worth the money, we would stay again.

It did the job.
Pros:

Had a comfy bed and shower which was the main thing, not too far from the Bolton’s stadium either only a few stops away on the train. Not bad for a midweek game if you’re coming for an away game like I did. Staff were very friendly.

Room wasn’t very noise proof

The location, the price, the bathroom.

Cons:

The jobsworth manager on reception in arrival. I was asked for ID at check-in, I've stayed in hotels all over the UK for many years, never been asked for ID , I was also asked for a £50 deposit which I wasn't aware of, I've never been asked for a deposit for any hotels I've stayed in, in the UK. I was informed that these prerequisites were outlined in my booking confirmation, I couldn't find it anywhere. The manager showed me on my phone, where this is information was. Hidden in a message under a button that displayed, send message to hotel. I explained to the manager I had no need to message the hotel, so why would I open the button. He said pay the deposit and show ID or leave, luckily I had my bus pass for ID , and I had to ask a family member to transfer funds to my account for the deposit.
The manager had no empathy for my situation. I'll never stay here again, why he insisted on a deposit from a 63 year old man is beyond belief, not likely to steal or damage the room. Normally when I get good service I I'll tell maybe 10 people. When I get bad service I'll tell thousands through my TripAdvisor Reviews, which are read by many.

Pros:

The location was good.

Cons:

Room was very disgusting and dirty, the carpet was wet and room smelt heavily of damp, bed was dirty made us feel very itchy and since leaving my fiance and me have has chest related health issues.

So loud, all you can hear is drunks outside and people literally beating each other up at 5 am
Corridor smells of cannabis
No kettle in the room and it was just unpleasant to be, bed was uncomfortable

It was like a council building that was used for illegal immigrants i I have no problem with mixed race or different culture people but when you are made to feel very uncomfortable you don't feel safe in the morning there was drunk people in reception with police there was people staying there smoking cannabis on the property grounds and smelt really bad by the morning we had bites on us from the bed I have tried to contact him to ask for a refund for the last four days with still no reply I did not feel safe one bit to even leave the room to go downstairs to smoke in the garden on my own ended up leaving after two nights stay we booked for 4 nights had to pay for different hotel with no contact back from them and they have been contacted many times

Bed was relatively comfortable

Cons:

Noisy area, thin walls and doors inside, room was small and felt a little dingy. Main entrance is actually on a different street but rear access is avaliable from postcode provided.

Very decent rooms and very friendly staff
Pros:

the Court House rooms are good, beds were comfortable. The biggest selling point is its proximity to the areas i went to for a function, church and family that i visited in Bolton.
