Pros:

Location was perfect and the view of the minster from the room was beautiful. One of the most spacious rooms I've ever stayed in the UK. The bathroom was also very comfortable with a large bath. It was also very quiet.

Cons:

Being a heritage building there are no lifts to access top floors so this might me an issue for people with mobility issues.

You will not regret staying at Judges Lodging. It’s excellent.

We’ve stayed here a few times as the location is excellent as is the hotel …. We were able to drop
Our bag before check in and leave it after check out so we could do some shopping before heading home…. Staff are lovely…. Breakfast is good too

Delightful stay and breakfast service. We'd come again.
Pros:

It had a lot of character and excellent breakfast to order.

Cons:

Bit of a walk on cobblestones from train station. No elevator but staff helped with luggage. 👍🏼

Pros:

Overall everything was pretty good

Cons:

We had two rooms booked ..On the phone I had requested two single beds in each. Upon arrival one was a double and nothing else available.
Secondly I was awoke by water dripping on my head at 5.45....I moved the bed and went back to sleep. I presume it was from a shower in the room above.
I told the staff and they apologised...upon inspection of the ceiling water had come through before.

Amazing hotel and staff
Pros:

Hotel was very central to everything.
Staff were amazing and couldn't do enough to help whenever needed
The lady at reception when we checked in, I am so sorry I didn't catch your name
Aga who served us at breakfast was amazing , she was a complete joy a credit to your hotel
The guy who served us lunch i think his name was Jack not 100% sure but again he was great.
To be fair all the staff were amazing and helpful and friendly couldn't fault any of them .
Want to give the night porter a shout out as well so helpful and nice to chat with.
Room was probably one of the nicest I have stayed in on a uk break , we had room 8 called the belfry bed was so comfortable and the room was nice and quiet
Look forward to staying here again

Super hôtel très bien placé
Pros:

L'emplacement au top, le côté historique du bâtiment, l'excellent petit déjeuner, l'amabilité du personnel, la qualité des articles de toilette, l'aspect cosy et soigné de la chambre.

Cons:

Le manque d'ascenseur mais le lieu ne s'y prête pas, la bâtisse est ancienne. Mais le personnel nous a aidé avec les bagages.

Excellent location
Pros:

Good location. Easy wak from railway station and to museums, cathedral, etc. Lots of restaurants in neighbourhood. Good restaurant onsite with tasty breakfast menu. My room was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

My room faced the street so there was alot of street noise. Earplugs solved that problem quite nicely.

Ideally located but the hotel needs a major renovation.

The property is ideally located to explore the city.

Cons:

It’s worn and struggle to see how it’s rated as 5-star.
The furniture in the rooms is dated and worn, and the decor in the rooms is poor with lots of mold in the bathroom windows. Surfaces are dirty too.
For a five star, it’s surprising to see no mini fridge in the room.
