Einmaliges Fleckchen Erde, Hotel mit Luft nach oben

Die Lage des Hotel über der Bucht ist fantastisch, man kann sich daran nicht sattsehen.
Der Parkplatz außerhalb des Hotels ist gut gewählt, dadurch ist es auf dem Gelände sehr schön ruhig. Der Weg ist auch nicht weit, obwohl es manchmal in anderen Bewertungen so klingt.
Natürlich könnten die Liegen am Strand auch kostenlos sein, aber es ist ja auch kein Problem, die Liegen am Pool zu nutzen und zum Baden nach unten in die Bucht zu gehen bzw. mit dem Fahrstuhl zu fahren. Der Ausblick vom Pool ist auch sehr schön. Wer die 30 € nicht zahlen will, hätte jedenfalls eine Alternative. Ich hatte es aus manchen Bewertungen so herausgelesen, als ob der Zugang zum Strand schon kostenpflichtig sei.
Dem ist jedoch nicht so.
Es ist schön ruhig, keine laute Poolmusik, keine Animation. Abends gibt es manchmal
Livemusik, geht aber nicht so lange. Ich weiß nicht, ob sich das lohnt, gefühlt waren da nur eine Handvoll Zuhörer.
Das Zimmer hatte genug Schrankplatz, ausreichend Bügel, einen Kühlschrank und auch das Bett war hervorragend. Das Duschpaneel, mit 4 Möglichkeiten der Einstellung des Wasserstrahls, ist unbedingt als Pluspunkt hervorzuheben.
Besonders positiv möchte ich auch die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter anmerken. Es ist uns niemand kurz angebunden oder genervt gegenübergetreten. Alle waren ausgesprochen nett und hilfsbereit.
Das Internet war für uns überall ausreichend gut.

Cons:

Die Ausstattung des Balkons mit 2 sehr einfachen, unbequemen Holzstühlen und einem Mini-Holztisch ist nicht angemessen für ein 4 Sterne Hotel.
Der Kaffee am Pool wird in Papp- oder Plastikbechern serviert. No Go!
Unser Badezimmer im Zimmer 29 war mehr als renovierungsbedürftig. Die Toilette war nicht auf dem Boden verankert. Dort sitzend führte seitliche Bewegung zum Kippeln der gesamten Toilette! Mit Hilfe eines dicken Silikonstreifens versuchte man das zu kaschieren.Die Badezimmertür war im unteren Bereich mehrere Zentimeter aufgequollen, die Farbe abgesplittert. Die Tür der Duschkabine sah auch wirklich nicht mehr ansprechend aus. Offenbar hatte es im Bad schon mal einen Wasserschaden gegeben, denn auch im Zimmer konnte man an den Wänden zum Bad nur notdürftige Ausbesserungen mit Farbe erkennen.
Beim Frühstück hätte man sich gewünscht, dass ein Kaffeevollautomat zur Selbstbedienung aufgestellt worden wäre. So war man darauf angewiesen, dass jemand vom Service die Kaffeebestellung aufnimmt und den Kaffee von offenbar weiter entfernter Küche heranholt. Trotz eigentlich reichlich vorhandenem Personal wurde manchmal nicht unmittelbar nach den Kaffeewünschen gefragt, sondern andere Tische abgeräumt o.ä., obwohl es kein Mangel an freien Tischen gab. Zum Frühstück gehört in erster Linie der Kaffee, der muss direkt am Tisch sein. Teilweise mussten wir selbst das Personal ansprechen, insbesondere für den 2. Kaffee.
Es sollte in solch einem Hotel selbstverständlich sein, dass die Gäste nach dem Einnehmen des Tisches sofort nach ihrem Kaffeewunsch befragt werden.
Man muss wissen, dass der Strand aus Kieselsteinen besteht. Ohne Badeschuhe ist es schwierig, ins Wasser zu kommen. Das ist kein Negativpunkt, man sollte es nur wissen.
Es gibt leider nur italienisches Fernsehen und ein paar Sky Kanäle, die auf Englisch umgestellt werden können.

La struttura è magnifica per la posizione in cui si trova. Vanta un paesaggio e l’accesso ad una delle spiagge più belle della Puglia. Tutti i servizi della spiaggia sono eccellenti, da resort 5 stelle direi, dall’accesso in ascensore, alla pulizia dei bagni, lettini ed ombrelloni, fornitura teli.

Cons:

Il beach bar è molto carino ma con il limite della cucina che propone solo piatti freddi e preparati con poca cura. La colazione è servita in una grande sala al chiuso, poco accogliente e asettica. Il buffet non è molto vario ma i prodotti sono di buona qualità. Alcune aree del resort non sono curate. La mia camera, la suite faraglioni con piscina privata, ha un arredamento datato e poco coerente con lo stile mediterraneo che secondo me una struttura del genere dovrebbe avere. Per non parlare del fatto che il secondo ingresso, dal quale ci hanno fatto accedere al momento del check in, si trova in una zona di servizio, in uno stato di totale abbandono e incuria, infatti l’impatto è stato molto sgradevole.

Ristorante e spiaggia, bagnini e personale molto gentili. Consiglio. Cucina molto buona, colazione discreta, non abbondante la scelta. Ristorante: gentilezza di Marcello e Dino, impagabile!!!!

Al nostro arrivo ci hanno fatto alloggiare in una struttura esterna raggiungibile con un mini-car. Abbiamo chiesto camere più vicine all'alloggio principale perchè altrimenti troppo lontani per raggiungere la sede centrale in cui c'era ristorante e reception. Per raggiungerli, ci era stato detto di chiamare ogni volta il mini-car. Non affrontabile per noi.
