Fantastic location and helpful staff.
Pros:

Complimentary iced tea, croissants and coffee. Fantastic location.

Cons:

The room was hot and the windows didn’t open. A light for each futon would be preferable to one light in the middle.

Un excellent séjour dans cet hôtel pleins de charme et très bien situé !
Pros:

Vraiment tout : la localisation à côté du centre ville animé de Kyoto, l’hôtel à proximité d’un convenient store, le confort de la chambre supérieure, la propreté, la bienveillance du personnel et leur efficacité.

Cons:

Rien à redire, notre logement favoris au Japon jusqu’à maintenant.

Pros:

Das Zimmer und das Bad sind schön gestaltet. Von der Grösse her entsprach das Zimmer einem guten Durchschnitt, d.h. es war nicht allzu gross aber auch nicht beengend. Dafür war die Einrichtung stilvoll und wir fühlten uns im Zimmer grundsätzlich wohl. Das hotel ist klein und wir haben nebst dem Zimmer zum schlafen keinerelei Zuatzleistungen genutzt.

Cons:

Man muss fairerweise anfügen, dass in unserem Zimmer im 4. Stock der Strassenlärm extrem gut zu hören war. Bzw. es war in der Nacht laut z.Bsp. aufgrund der durchrasenden Autos oder der Müllabfuhr am frühen Morgen. Mit Ohrenstöpsel ok, aber nichts für lärmempfindliche. Das liesse sich mit besseren Fenstern beheben.

Charming, comfortable and peaceful
Pros:

Perfect location - close to two different train/subway lines and many, many restaurants. There is a 7-11 steps away. Very responsive, kind, helpful and English speaking staff. Our rooms were clean and quiet, had many thoughtful details and comfortable beds . Enjoyed the croissants in the morning. This hotel is an excellent value.

Cons:

Nothing. Will definitely try to stay here next time.

Un hotel meraviglioso nel cuore di Gion
Pros:

Abbiamo scelto questo hotel per il nostro viaggio di nozze e non potevamo fare scelta migliore!
La posizione è fantastica, nel cuore del quartiere di Gion, a due minuti a piedi da luoghi bellissimi e da tutto il centro. Difficile trovare di meglio come punto di partenza per esplorare Kyoto.
Le camere sono belle, curate e pulite — pulizia giornaliera garantita, cosa non scontata. Le dimensioni sono adeguate: non enormi, ma ci entrano comodamente due valigie chiuse, lo spazio c'è. L'arredo è piacevole e l'atmosfera è quella giusta.
Apprezzatissima la piccola colazione inclusa: cornetto, caffè e succo d'arancia — semplice ma gradita, soprattutto di mattina prima di uscire a visitare.
Per tutto il resto, un soggiorno davvero top. Ci torneremmo senza dubbio!

Cons:

L'unica piccola pecca, l'aria condizionata è posizionata proprio sopra il letto, quindi di notte bisogna fare attenzione a non tenerla puntata direttamente addosso. Niente di grave, ma vale la pena saperlo.

Ett elegant och bekvämt hotell som gjorde vistelsen extra lyxig och avslappnande.
Pros:

Hotellet var otroligt lyxigt och höll verkligen hög standard på både service och faciliteter. Personalen var väldigt professionell och hjälpsam, och vi fick bra information under hela vistelsen vilket gjorde allt smidigt och enkelt.

Läget var också väldigt bra med närhet till det mesta, och det uppskattades mycket att hotellet hade tillgång till tvättmaskin – perfekt under en längre resa.

Peaceful, homey and relaxing
Pros:

I really loved how this stay felt like a spa. It was in a great location, close to transportation but also in a quiet corner of Gion. It was really special. Also some of the best complimentary beauty items I’ve had in Japan!
