Make sure there is no wedding before you agree to stay as it is a small hotel
Pros:

We splashed out for our last night in Madrid the hotel was expensive but a great welcome. Disappoined the hotel was full of wedding guests which meant the main restaurant was closed plus the bar was full. We had to eat out. We had to leave early and got a take out breakfat that was a coffee cheese sandwich an oreange and a bannana ,

Beautiful architecture, perfect location, and fantastic staff.
Pros:

Super friendly and helpful staff, especially at the reception desk. Loved the architecture and the perfect location. The food in the hotel restaurant was excellent! Also enjoyed the deserts in the hotel cafe. Would most definitely return here!

Cons:

Breakfast room got a little too busy, so best to come early or late.

It was fine, but I wouldn't go back for the hotel.
Pros:

The room was very comfortable, incredibly quiet and nicely stocked with coffee, tea supplies and bathroom products.

Cons:

I didn't love the first room we were given, it felt like a closet with a "window" that opened onto a shaft. It definitely didn't match the photos on the website. Before we checked in we were told we could upgrade to slightly bigger room for 50 Euros extra per night. We declined, but after seeing the room, which was just disappointing for the price, we decided to pay extra for a nicer one. Basically they know its not a nice room. I feel like in nicer hotels there can be a feeling that if you aren't going to spend the money on a room that they're known for, they just kind of give throw away rooms to the guests that want to be there but aren't quite well off enough to get the real experience they're offering.
