Fantastic hotel
Pros:

I recently stayed at Tracy’s Oakwood in Shannon and was genuinely impressed. Check‑in was handled by excellent staff who were welcoming, efficient, and made the arrival experience smooth. The food and bar were fantastic, offering great quality and a comfortable atmosphere to unwind. The location was fantastic for our needs, making it easy to get around and ideal for our plans during the stay.

My room was spotless, modern, and extremely comfortable, which made for a very pleasant visit. The only drawback was the TV setup. Unfortunately, the TVs are not smart TVs, meaning I couldn’t connect to Netflix or other streaming services. While not a major issue, it’s something that would enhance the overall guest experience.

Overall, Tracy’s Oakwood delivers superb service, great food, an excellent location, and comfortable rooms, just a small update to the in‑room entertainment would make it perfect.

Conveniently located to the Shannon Airport with a decent restaurant - overall good value.
Pros:

The room was clean and the quality of the dinner in the restaurant was very good. The bartender was excellent, but the wait staff were slow.

Cons:

Our room was as far from the ONLY door into the hotel as possible. It took at least 5 minutes to walk from the entrance to our room, with heavy luggage. We passed at least 3 other doors but they are all designated as fire exits. Very inconvenient, and seemingly unnecessary.

Pros:

Questo albergo e' molto convenientemente posizionato per chi visita la regione. Noi ci siamo stati due notti, visitando un giorno il Castello di Bunratty e l'altro giorno la città di Limerick. E' molto comodo che abbia anche un parcheggio gratuito e un ristorante molto buono. La colazione e' abbondante e variata, specialmente a chi piace la colazione salata. Lo staff e' molto gentile e la stanza abbastanza grande per l'intera famiglia (4 persone). I letti sono comodi e la stanza silenziosa.

Cons:

Limitata la scelta di cose dolci da mangiare - ma sembra essere lo standard in Irlanda, dunque va bene. La nostra stanza dava sul parcheggio, ma con le finestre e tende chiuse non c'era rumore.

Curtains were slightly broken, bathroom door was very squeaky, hairs found on tea/coffee station and looked like coffee stains on disposable coasters, one bedside lamp didnt work.
