Worst part of my entire trip..Hotel Anjing is a better name
Pros:

Nothing. There are at least 8 stray dogs on the premises. I was bitten in the first 10 minutes

Cons:

Horrible scam going on. Photo is not what they offer and it's not on the beach. Horrible sweatbox. I transferred to GH Tajau Laut which is the true photo. But equally bad due to stray vicious dogs the owner Udey does nothing about except smile

Pros:

This place is in a beautiful coastal village is out of the way, which is great! 15 minute drive to kudat, 20 minutes from the tip of borneo.
The accommodation is simple, but for the price it's great.
The host, Jair, is incredibly helpful and can arrange for meals cooked in the homestay for 15rm each.

Cons:

If you're driving, The road out there can be a bit dicey, the homestay sent Instructions, we followed them and got their all good.

Pros:

I'm very happy I had the chance to stay here; in addition to the breakfast, for an additional 15MR per meal, I get large portions of good food, and the hosting family is very nice. It's a fishing village, so not sure you can get vegetarian options :) The beach is right behind the house, and snorkeling is good. The room is spaceous, and the internet is excellent. They are friends with a place a few minutes walk from here, and I've hung out there from time to time. If you want to shop, need to go to Kudat, which is around 20min by motorized vehicle.
