L’emplacement etait parfait
Le petit dej était bon mais qd on a lu qu’il s’agissait de produits locaux, on aurait pu imaginer un vrai jus d’orange au lieu d’un jus artificiel
Le reste etait vraiment bon
L’arrivée a était un peu désastreuse car on est venu à pied .. le gps nous a fait monter et descendre 🥵… j’étais au bout de ma vie mais la chambre etait très bien

La struttura si trova nel cuore di Matera, molto vicina al Duomo, in ottima posizione per chi arriva in auto (è proprio di fronte alla navetta dal parcheggio) e con una bella vista .I letti sono comodi e la colazione abbondante e varia

In generale, la sensazione è stata di scarsa attenzione ai dettagli, eravamo due coppie e in entrambe le camere i dispenser del sapone erano completamente vuoti, in una delle due era anche assente lo scopino per il wc. Sono piccoli disagi che però in una vacanza possono infastidire, anche in considerazione del fatto che non è certo la struttura più economica della città. Altra segnalazione: ci hanno cortesemente tenuto i bagagli assicurandoci che fino alle 12:30-13 qualcuno sarebbe stato presente per poterli ritirare ma già alle 12 non c'era nessuno ed è stato necessario contattare telefonicamente il proprietario per poter ottenere in codice di accesso. Anche questo un piccolo disagio tutto sommato, ma ..

Beautiful traditional cave accommodation in Matera
Pros:

Traditional cave interior. Friendly host and simple but delicious breakfast. Not too far from the main town. Quiet in the cave. Air con to keep cool

Cons:

Sheets didn’t seem to feel dry and we didn’t sleep very well.

Family of 4, 2 rooms A and D, 5 days stay. The rooms were as described, clean, the air conditioning was a little noisier. You have to remember that you are in Matera, it is accommodation in a cave and therefore the rooms do not have a window. It is a new experience. Great location a few steps from the historic center of Matera. Breakfast was OK, hot every day, delicious croissants, etc. It would be worth considering whether to add eggs to the menu. Especially the breakfasts outside had their charm. Gianni was great, always smiling and willing to solve any problem. Thank you very much for a great stay.

Chambre bien décorée, dans la pierre et confortable, bonne literie. Climatisation ok. À l'entrée du quartier des sassi, terrasse avec vue sur la montagne derrière. Petit déjeuner correct. Nous ne sommes restés qu'une seule nuit donc nous n'avons pas profité du hammam ni des services d'excursions proposés.

Cons:

Le robinet de la salle de bain était mal fixé. Le frigo ne refroidissait pas suffisamment.

The location was excellent. Very close to bus stop so easy to bring luggage to room. The room and beds were comfortable and cool and breakfast was great. The staff was very accommodating and helpful making great recommendations for food and tours

Ciao a tutti i lettori, sono Giovanni di Pistoia. Durante un weekend della terza settimana di giugno abbiamo soggiornato presso il Carrubo Residence a Matera e ci siamo trovati davvero benissimo. Lo consiglio a chiunque desideri vivere un'esperienza speciale visitando questa splendida città.
Dal residence, con una piacevole passeggiata di circa 5 minuti, si raggiunge comodamente il centro storico.
Durante il soggiorno avrete modo di conoscere Tommaso, sempre disponibile e pronto ad aiutare per qualsiasi esigenza, e Gianni, il titolare, una persona gentile, affabile ed educata. Se lo desiderate, sarà lieto di accompagnarvi alla scoperta dei Sassi di Matera, raccontandone con passione e competenza la storia e le tradizioni.
Un soggiorno che consiglio vivamente: sono certo che non rimarrete delusi, anzi, porterete con voi un bellissimo ricordo di Matera e dell'ospitalità ricevuta.
